At #Dior, we weave creativity with sustainability. Through Dior Day for Good, the House’s global employee volunteering program, Dior Talents are empowered to dedicate their time and skills to initiatives that create a positive social and environmental impact within their local communities. As part of the House’s Dior Earth Day initiatives, and in support of its Dream in Green environmental strategy, 22 Dior China Talents recently volunteered at the ‘Habitat East Bank’ habitat garden in Shanghai’s Pudong district. Guided by biodiversity experts, they explored the site's wetland ecosystem, identified and removed invasive plant species, helping preserve the ecological balance of this unique urban habitat. The experience concluded with a creative plant printing workshop using natural materials collected during the activity, reinforcing the connection between creativity, craftsmanship, and nature. Jiaming Yang, Environment & Sustainability Leader, Greater China, shares: ‘This initiative aligns with our 'Dream in Green' strategy and engagement activities, placing Talent empowerment and development at the core of our transformative change.’ #DiorTalents #DreamInDior

At #Dior, we are committed to empowering women. Recently, the House invited Women@Dior Mentees to discover ‘Grammaire des formes,’ a unique exhibition at the Musée Rodin in Paris, stepping behind-the-scenes of the creative dialogue that shaped Jonathan Anderson's second Haute Couture collection for the House, the Fall-Winter 2026–2027 Haute Couture show. From the runway to the exhibition, Mentees explored how the collection came to life through a conversation between the Dior archives and the work of American sculptor Lynda Benglis. Inspired by her sculptural approach to materials, the exhibition revealed how gestures such as draping, knotting and hand-plissé, combined with the exceptional savoir-faire of the Dior ateliers, were transformed into striking couture silhouettes. As part of the Women@Dior mentoring and educational journey, this experience reflects the House's commitment to opening doors to culture, fostering curiosity, and celebrating the transmission of creativity across generations. By offering opportunities to engage with art, heritage, and craftsmanship, Women@Dior encourages a spirit of lifelong learning. Celena Sandirasegarane, Women@Dior Mentee, shares: ‘Attending the exhibition was a wonderful opportunity to connect with my fellow Women@Dior sisters and share this unique experience together. What stayed with me the most was the guided tour: discovering the story behind each silhouette, fabric, and accessory gave every piece of creation a new dimension and reminded me how powerful storytelling is in bringing craftsmanship and creativity to life.’ #WomenAtDior #DreamInDior

The Fall Winter 2026-2027 Haute Couture Show revealed the variety of ways Creative Director Jonathan Anderson drew inspiration from the work of artist Lynda Benglis in his second couture collection. In addition to techniques like knotting and draping, pleating is a craft prevalent in both Benglis’s work and the House’s ateliers. Pleated metal sculptures were revisited in lamé fabrics densely woven with metallic yarns in silver, gold and copper shades for a trio of dresses, as well as molded hats. #DreamInDior

Much of the jewellery appearing in the Dior Fall Winter 2026-2027 Haute Couture Show was created in collaboration with artisans in Jaipur, India, in acknowledgment of artist Lynda Benglis’s long association with the country. The city of Jaipur, in the northwestern state of Rajasthan, has been renowned for its expertise in gemstones and jewellery making for three centuries. For this collection, traditional designs strung on hand-braided dori cords were reimagined in mother-of-pearl and carved rock crystal and green onyx, the latter recalling highly symbolic emeralds. One notable source of inspiration came from the Mughal Mirror Diamond Necklace - the most significant surviving jewel from the reign of Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal - with its five perfectly matched, colourless, internally flawless, table-cut Golconda diamonds, accented with carved emerald drops, all mounted in gold on a silk cord. Special thanks to Sankalp Dhamani, National Facets; Sarthak Kasliwal, The Gem Palace. Rewatch the show https://lnkd.in/eQtF5dxF #DreamInDior
