Frazzled
Frazzled thoughts like frazzled hair,
on a humid day without rain.
Unquenched thirst…
of the distracted mind,
waiting on the cumulus of knowledge,
to pour again.
Stop
The world does not stop…
to listen to your heart cry,
and you lay still,
pondering why…
you did.
Ripples
The ripples in the water,
calm the ripples of my thoughts,
as I sit by the river,
throwing stones.
