Before there was Forge Evolution, there was Colorado Springs Teen Court. Established in 1994 by El Paso County Bar Auxiliary volunteers, Colorado Springs Teen Court has been a proven option for youth who make misdemeanor mistakes.
In the Teen Court programc, participants ages 10-19 are seen by a peer panel of trained youth volunteers who tailor required programming to each participant. Through offerings like life skills classes, behavioral health services, and community service, participants are more likely to avoid getting in more trouble and build a brighter future.
Over the years, the organization found that our programming could benefit all youth and families, but Teen Court could only help after an offense occurred.
As of May 01, 2021, Teen Court became Forge Evolution with a new focus on boosting resiliency and helping all youth grow. Now, parents, schools, and other partners can send youth to Forge Evolution at any point to get them involved in our research-backed programming and methods that set up youth for health and success in Colorado Springs and beyond.

Volunteering opportunities are available for adults and young folks. Forge Evolution programs allow you to work closely with our participants and increase your involvement within our community.
- Act as a case manager for Peer Panels.
- Be a mentor for the student attorneys at Trials.
- Be a positive power of peer influence to stop harmful behavior before it happens.
- Watch our youth grow into confident and competent young people throughout your time volunteering.
- Work closely with youth and other community members to expand your professional horizon.
- Act as a Peer Panelist and make your voice heard in another kid's life.
