Greetings!
Thanks for stopping by. Most of the entries in my journal are not public, which means that I need to give you access in order for you to read them. All I ask is that you read my full profile so that you understand what you're getting into, then leave a comment here introducing yourself and telling me how you found me. In all likelihood I'll add you back, but if your profile is uninformative and you have no journal entries, I may ask you to tell me more about yourself before I do so.
(If I knew you on LiveJournal, just remind me and, especially now, I won't worry about empty profiles and journals since I know how long it can take to get everything over.)
Comments are not screened.
Sticky: Note to my LiveJournal Friends
Apr. 7th, 2017 12:30 pmRemember that Dreamwidth splits the "Friend" concept into two components: Subscribe and Access. If I subscribe to you, that means that your public entries appear on my reading page. If you have granted me access, I can also read your "restricted" (i.e., Friends Only) posts on my reading page. If you subscribe to me, my public posts will appear on your reading page. If I've granted you access, that means my restricted posts will appear there as well. In every case, it's a two-step process: You get to decide whether you want to subscribe, and separately whether you want to grant access.
I mention this only because some of my LiveJournal friends have subscribed to me without granting me access, which may or may not be intentional.
