Jan. 10th, 2013 09:40 pmSo, here it is, my book list for 2012.
I started of reviewing most of the books, but quickly lost enthusiasm for that part of it. Life was busy and stressful and in short I couldnt be bothered.
I have no idea if 32 is a good number or not, there were about another 4 or 5 did not finish books to add, but forgotten what they were.
I really enjoyed this historical books - Gillian Bagwell, Janet Paisley and Phillipa Gregory. I read a lot of "chick lit" too. lol

Mobile Phone Companies.

O2 or Vodafone...experiences and opinions in the comments please.
I have been with O2 since before they existed - they took over my original BT Genie contract about 70 squillion mobile phone light years ago....so talk to me of Vodafone or O2....
The reason is thus - I would much like a shiny shiny HTC Sensation, only available on Vodafone at this time...do I move to Vodafone or wait with O2? The contracts would both be 24months, £35 a month for unlimited texts, 600mins of calls and 500mb of interwebs... O2 does have the bolt on option for more interwebs, not sure about vodafone...
HALP!

Not in particular. I have however been a victim of people being misled, jumping to the wrong conclusion and thereafter slurring my name, banding accusations about and generally being not very nice about me, even though they had never spoken to me online or in any context.
I guess that could be a form of bullying. I dealt with it pretty god-damn quickly once I found out though.
I will not tolerate cyber bullying in anyform. Heated debate yes, but personal attacks on someone, no, never. My online friends mean as much, if not more to me than some of my "real life" ones. God only knows they've been there for me more than most of the RL ones.

I don't want any of my content, locked or otherwise, including my comments on other journals, linked to Facebook, Twitter or any other networking site. If you have any intention of doing this, even with material you may consider trivial, now is the time to defriend me. There is a reason my journal is almost invariably f-locked. If you're not cool with that for any reason, drop me a line.
On the flip side, as far as I'm concerned what happens on LJ stays on LJ - I will never disseminate your content, including comments, anywhere else.
I mean it. Dont do it. EVER.

Suggestions Please!
Aug. 28th, 2010 09:26 amI also need to find a 50th Birthday present for my mum. Her birthday is on Wednesday, I am not normally so disorganised. Especially for the "big" birthdays. Mum says she is not bothered. But I can't get her nothing. I've tried getting in touch with my brother to see if he has got her anything, but he's not replying to msgs. He has notoriously bad signal too. I do have two tickets to see Imelda May on the 27th of September but I'm not sure it's my mum's thing.
Any suggestions folks?
