I REALLY don't need or want an Ocarina of Time remake, it's one of my favorite games of all time and I think any attempt to remake it is... misguided at best.

I like some remakes; the FF7 ones are fun for being more a reimagining of the setting with a different gameplay style.

But Ocarina... nah.

LRS: Hey. is maybe my favorite story I've read all year. The two sisters are so, so complex, so nuanced, and so wonderful together. Few writers can really capture them, bring them to life as Sweet has.

The novel's changed my life in real, meaningful ways. I'm truly glad I read it.

I cannot believe how good Kamiina Botan is. One of the best yuri anime yet, alongside Ave Mujica. Absolutely incredible show, some of the best animation I've seen in a yuri anime.

Sometimes you'll be 36 and suddenly understand that you derealized and/or disassociated all the time as a kid/teen and never had a word for it, never knew how to explain it, but knew most of the people around you didn't do it

And it still happens! But at least there's a framework to understand now.

LRS please read Sweet's stuff, she's a genuinely incredible writer. I've spent most of the past year reading her stuff and it's consistently well-written, evocative, and delightfully singular.

I've spent the majority of my day talking to deeply intelligent, creative trans women and honestly, folks, this is what it's all about.

I would really love for my life to consist even more of surrounding myself with women like these, it's become so incredibly fulfilling.

I don't know why women who don't care for mechsplo feel the need to keep writing long-winded articles on why it's bad or harmful or what have you, but here we are again, I guess

Something I find incredibly heartening and uplifting is that almost every Zelda source port that I know of has a Linkle/Saria/etc. model and female pronouns mod.

Nintendo won't let me play as a girl but the fan community's really there to help us girls feel seen.

I always think about trying LOTR Online again, it's a solid MMO and I enjoyed my time playing solo, but it IS still an MMO.
