I love and adore my cats, so please share with me any fun photos of your own pets and/or pets that you know!

We have two in our flat, and one at home with our parents. Ours are 2 brothers, the other was adopted from a colleague of my sister who had an unexpected litter from a cat that was homeless and decided to come live with her instead. :p

Anyway, we adopted Finn and Faro 3 years ago. Saphira was adopted about 6 or 7 years ago. The two brothers have very distinct personalities and while looking very different, Finn is a grey tiger with a white belly and Faro an orange tiger, they both have a very distinct line on the side of their head that shows their familial bond.

That line is also the reason Faro is named that way. The woman who took care of them as kittens, felt it reminded her of the Eye of Horus and so she named Finn Faro, after the word pharaoh (Faro is also a place in Portugal but totally unrelated to our cat's name). We changed that by naming the orange one Faro, and then decided on an another F-name for the grey tiger. It was a choice between Finn or Flynn. Finn is a nickname I use on some forums but I don't mind sharing.

Saphira is named after the blue dragon from Eragon. Basically the same personality really. :p Not so much dragon-like but her hissing is impressionable, especially when you're not fast enough to serve her pleasures. :p

So, as far as personalities go with Finn and Faro, then Faro is the smallest of the two but has the most courage and will be the one chewing the cardboard box to shreds. While Finn is a very cautious cat who will look thrice before jumping into the couch or onto the bed, and who will break off his jump halfway when he spots something he conceives as threatening, which could be anything from a stupid sweets wrapper to a moving toe.
