Reccer's Notes: This video is frequently recced and with good reason (I was surprised not to find it here already tbh). The underlying currents of tension that rise and fall through this video, even its moments of quiet are filled with a foreboding sense of waiting for the skies to open and lightning to rage. You don't have to be familiar with NiF to find this fanvid accessible as a work of storytelling (and if you are familiar with NiF let's face it, you've probably already seen this vid, if this isn't the work that got you to watch the show in the first place). Seriously, the tension. The drama! The feelings. It's a slow beat and a slow build held together by some kind of masterful sorcery that makes this vid one of my lifelong favorites.
