Reccer's Notes: Dirty, smelly boys in a beaten-up van, playing gigs and partying, and drinking bad truck stop coffee. This will always be the quintessential "on the road in the early days" story for me. I don't know how many times I've re-read it over the years but doing so never fails to cheer me up.
