Fallen leaves

  The bright, glowing sun  People having fun  The excitement in the air  Ice creams everywhere  Colorful trees Chromatic leaves Bright bees  Sparkling seas Beautiful butterflies  Clear blue skies  Summer romances! Second chances? Hazy clouds Lazy crowds  Afternoon swims! Snacks and drinks? Love in the air  Candies and kisses? You make me aware of things I never knew, Does it sound poetic? Maybe. For someone as soft as a daisy, Even buttercups have honeyed hearts. And if you don't love me as much as I do? I understand. Because we are one soul, not two. -A.S    (pic- google)

Look at the stars, The way they shine, So bold yet so brilliant, Forever ain't enough  To revere them. Look at the spring moon, Covered in silver light, Calm and serene, Forever ain't enough To glance at it. Look at the trees, Clutching the soil on which you stand so tight,  The leaves they shed, Forever ain't enough  To learn from them. Look at the flowers,  So colorful, so aromatic,  Always fresh and protected by thorns,  Forever ain't enough  To admire them.  Like the flowers, Peek at your form in the mirror,  Not so perfect, yet so beautiful,  Always learning,  Forever ain't enough  To love oneself. Look at your loved ones, The times you spent with them, and those sweet memories you remember so vividly, Forever ain't enough  To cherish them. Life is short dear one. Confess to the people you admire,  Study the nature,  View the universe,  "cause' forever ain't enough to say 'Forever ain't enough" -A.S 🖤

 I'm no poet,  yet with your honeyed smile, my words seem to rhyme along my heartbeat so high.  I'm no philanthropist,  yet with your loving gaze everything I have in this materialistic world I'd willingly trade.  I need no magic nor no pixie dust. Your lips alone are the sweetest enchantments I own.  Indeed, I am a sinner; a crack in the mirror.  I am nothing but an imperfection,  that stands out in the ocean of imperfections.  Yet the mere touch of your lips, darling, is my redemption.  For such kisses breathe life, into the wounded souls deep inside.
