  • Charging infrastructure driving public transport electrification in Spain 🚎⚡ The Arriva Pintores project, located in Alcorcón (Madrid), marks a new step forward in the transition towards zero-emission urban mobility. Arriva Spain, a leading public transport operator across Europe, continues advancing its commitment to more sustainable transport networks through projects like this. Power Electronics is contributing to this initiative with the supply of a fleet of eight Standalone NB 240 fast chargers. Designed for high performance and reliability, this technology supports the efficient operation of electric bus fleets, enabling cleaner and more sustainable urban mobility. This milestone highlights the importance of robust, scalable charging solutions to support the growing deployment of electric transport systems. This project builds on previous collaborations with Arriva, including Arriva Alcorcón (8 Standalone NB 240 chargers) and Arriva Móstoles (11 Standalone NB 240 chargers), further consolidating the deployment of charging infrastructure across Madrid. We continue working alongside operators worldwide to deliver efficient, reliable and seamlessly integrated charging infrastructure.

  • 🇦🇺 Our Technical Seminar 2026 in Sydney brought together over 300 attendees from across Australia’s energy ecosystem, including developers, AEMO, NSPs, grid consultants, EPCs, BESS OEMs, customers, and key industry partners. A gathering of this scale reflects not only the strength of the Australian market, but also the trust placed in Power Electronics as a technology partner for some of the country’s most complex energy infrastructure projects. Data centers were one of the central topics of the day, with dedicated sessions exploring how the rise of AI and critical digital infrastructure is reshaping energy demand, grid connection requirements, and the need for robust, scalable, and highly reliable power conversion solutions. From grid-forming technology to power-forming mode for off-grid commissioning, as well as evolving NEM connection requirements, the different sessions highlighted the importance of combining innovative solutions with deep technical expertise and strong local market knowledge. Insights shared from large-scale projects across the region demonstrated how close collaboration between developers, network operators, and technology providers is helping accelerate the deployment of increasingly complex energy storage and renewable energy projects. At Power Electronics, we believe innovation goes beyond technology itself.   • Advancing megawatt charging for heavy-duty transport ⚡🚛 This week, we welcomed Daimler Truck AG to our facilities for a series of interoperability tests focused on Megawatt Charging System (MCS) technology. Over three days of testing, we successfully validated the performance and interoperability of our MCS charging solution under demanding operating conditions, including ambient temperatures of up to 40°C. The tests demonstrated stable and continuous charging at more than 1 MW, confirming the reliability of the system and its readiness to support the next generation of electric heavy-duty transport. An additional milestone of this testing campaign is that all charging sessions were carried out using 100% renewable energy, reinforcing our commitment to a more sustainable mobility ecosystem. We continue working alongside leading vehicle manufacturers to accelerate the deployment of high-power charging infrastructure and enable the transition towards zero-emission transport.

    Yesterday, Sydney became a hub for energy infrastructure innovation as we welcomed more than 300 partners to our Technical Seminar 2026. 🇦🇺    With over 14 GW of AC power capacity installed across Australia, this market remains a strategic priority for Power Electronics, and today was a great opportunity to reaffirm our long-term commitment to its growth together with our global leadership and dedicated local team.    The event featured keynote presentations from David O'Donoghue, Managing Director of Power Electronics Australia; Raúl Padierna, Chief Sales Officer; Ander Garcia, Grids Integration Director; Adrian Rodriguez, APAC Service Director and Manuel Rodriguez Service Engineering Manager (Australia)    Together, they shared our global business outlook, the evolution of the Australian market and the technologies shaping the future of utility-scale renewables and critical infrastructures, including:  ⚡ Grid-forming capabilities  ⚡ Product roadmap  ⚡ Data center solutions  ⚡ Grid connection requirements  ⚡ Future market trends    A special thank you to our local Australian team, including Glenn Clark, Xanti Izal, Ben Harris, Ben O’Donoghue, Scott Ian and Melissa Knipe, for continuing to strengthen our presence in one of the most dynamic energy markets in the world.    To top off an extraordinary day of collaboration, we are moving the conversations from the seminar room to the water for an evening harbor cruise and dinner! 🚢✨    Thank you to everyone who joined us in Sydney.
