Large-scale consultations with the higher education community: shaping the future of digital Erasmus

This spring, we’re running a large-scale consultation with key stakeholders to gather their needs, concerns, and ideas related to the digitalisation of Erasmus+ processes.

""

Objectives of the consultations

  • identify challenges and opportunities: understand the barriers to digital adoption and explore innovative solutions
  • co-design digital solutions: ensure platforms and technologies meet the needs of both higher education institutions and students
  • enhance user experience: streamline processes to make digital Erasmus+ accessible and efficient
  • promote equity and inclusivity: address the digital divide to ensure all institutions and students can benefit

We’ll be particularly focusing on digital learning agreements and inter-institutional agreements.

How we are consulting

We’ll be running surveys, physical and online events, and focus groups with national digital experts, Erasmus Without Paper Champions and the wider community.

The first events take place on 28-29 January in Brussels with technical colleagues from all EWP Network nodes.

A special call out to International Relations Officers

International Relations Officers (IROs) are at the heart of Erasmus+. Their responsibilities range from managing student exchanges to building partnerships between institutions.

With Erasmus+ going digital, their role is evolving as well. IROs across Europe are working towards streamlining the administrative processes as we transition from paper-based to digital workflows for managing mobility programmes.

Therefore, to design effective policies and tools, it is essential to include IROs in the conversation. Their on-the-ground experience provides invaluable insights into the practical challenges and opportunities of digital transformation.

Make sure to be part of the user groups to share your opinion!

Stay tuned for the upcoming invitations to also share your voice! If you are not yet part of the EWP user groups, make sure to register as we’ll use this channel to reach out.

More information will also be provided via your Erasmus+ National Agency and the ESCI Newsletter, which you can subscribe to here.
