Butterfly Learnings raises ₹65 Cr pre-series B funding led by Inflexor Ventures

Paediatric behavioural health platform Butterfly Learnings has raised ₹65 crore in a pre-series B funding round led by Inflexor Ventures with participation from Insitor Partners, Enzia Ventures and IIMA Ventures.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Butterfly's centre network beyond Maharashtra, strengthen its technology platform and AI capabilities, scale its early autism screening solution through hospitals and paediatricians, and expand its in-house therapist training programme.

Founded by Dr. Sonam Kothari and Dr. Abhishek Sen, Butterfly Learnings operates a full-stack platform combining clinical therapy, inclusive schooling, digital therapeutics, diagnostics and technology-enabled interventions for neurodivergent children and their families.

A key part of Butterfly's technology stack is Get SET Early, a patented eye-tracking autism screening technology for which the company holds an exclusive global licence. Following CDSCO approval, the solution can screen children as young as one year old, with the aim of reducing diagnostic delays and enabling earlier intervention.

“When we started Butterfly Learnings, the question we kept coming back to was not whether families wanted help; they desperately did, but why the system kept failing them,” said Dr. Kothari. “The answer was always the same: fragmentation.”

The company currently operates 90-plus centres across more than 22 cities. It also runs what it describes as Asia's only Behavioural Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE)-accredited therapist training institute.

Dr. Sonam Kothari brings clinical depth alongside operating business experience that is genuinely rare; and Dr. Abhishek Sen brings the execution capability that turns clinical insight into a scalable business,” said Pratip Mazumdar, partner, Inflexor Ventures.
