Encyclia makes ORCID records available on the Fediverse. You can use it to follow researchers who don't have a Fediverse presence and see their new publications on your feed! Or you can follow your own ORCID record from Mastodon (or Akkoma or Misskey etc.) and share your academic works with your followers.
This website uses the public ORCID API to provide its services. It is not endorsed by ORCID.
This project is currently in alpha testing. The ORCID bridge is active for a small group of volunteer testers, but cannot be used to bridge other ORCID records yet. Learn more about the alpha test or see the project's roadmap.
Do you want to
- Customize how your ORCID record appears on Encyclia?
- See your follower and interaction statistics?
- Fully opt your ORCID record out of being bridged?
Currently bridging 3 150 publications from 14 ORCID records to 137 followers on 47 servers.
More to come!
Encyclia is working on more tools for research collaboration and communication on the Fediverse. Check back here some time or follow us for project updates!
