Arizona Coyotes template roster

[edit]

Hi Sbaio. I just want to let you know that I saw the revert. Let me explain my argument. My argument for keeping the Coyotes roster actually has a few reasons, number 1, Arizona and Utah are seperate Franchises, number 2 is that I think it is useful to have the Coyotes most recent roster on Wikipedia, to do this; I have to remove the redirect, another option would be to just copying and pasting the Coyotes roster from an old version and adding it in. Next, I should note I am on the Autism spectrum and have ADHD. I do know that Wikipedia can have a lot of heated arguments. I would like to know your arguments, break it down please Servite et contribuere (talk) 09:41, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Servite et contribuere: The consensus at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 April 29#Template:Arizona Coyotes roster is more than clear so you will have to gain a new consensus to have that template restored. In addition, it is not known at this point if Coyotes are on "hiatus" or have folded so we will have to wait some time (months or years) before NHL says something. There is a 2023–24 Arizona Coyotes season page that lists players which played in the most recent Coyotes season so that is another reason why you must not restore that template or copy that roster to Coyotes page as you did with this edit, and do not make statements like that, because it implies that you will continue to disrupt Wikipedia with your own personal preference. Finally, your health problems are no business of mine so you can put that card back in your pocket. – sbaio 13:03, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I don’t know all of Wikipedia’s policies, I know that they are voted on by Users. I might actually add a topic on my page for Users to Discuss, but that roster was actually about scoring leaders and stats. It does not state their Nationality and stuff like that. One user said “ I value the ability to view previous versions of roster templates and see how the rosters change, and I suspect I'm not the only one. It would be a shame to lose all that history. Is there another potential target for this?”. What are Wikipedia’s policies on Trivia, and what are the arguments against it? I do love it when people express opinions, considering Wikipedia has around 40 Million Users. Anyways, I do need some help from experienced people time and time again Servite et contribuere (talk) 13:32, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
