The article Steve Ganson has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 21:35, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Richard Hawkyard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. BoricuaeddieTalkContribsSpread the love! 20:26, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. BoricuaeddieTalkContribsSpread the love! 21:10, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. BoricuaeddieTalkContribsSpread the love! 21:10, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help! I'm trying to disambiguate all the rugby league-related Peter Fox articles by naming them appropriately. I'm not sure, but it seems we've got a Peter Fox playing on the wing currently for Wakefield Trinity. Then there was Peter Fox, coach of Bradford in the 1970s and another Peter Fox coaching Bradford in the 1990s. I need someone who knows more about English rugby league than I do.--Jeff79 00:35, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Big Brother

[edit]

Hi there I have reinstated Biogs.com in the external links for Big Brother series 8 as it has extensive and regularly updated coverage of the housemates. Hope that's OK with you. cheers, World Indexer

Preview function

[edit]

I noticed that you were making many edits in a short space of time, often just changing formatting, on the Big Brother 2007 (UK) page. Please use the preview function for this as it stops the article from being displayed in an incorrect manner while you are still editing, and it also reduces the amount of edits to the article, reducing the amount of versions that the editors have to read through. John Hayes 09:12, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again you made many edits in a short space of time to the nominations table, just hit preview instead of save each time, to reduce it to one edit. John Hayestalk 06:44, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. John Hayestalk 06:44, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bradford Bulls signings 2008

[edit]

I see you have added that players have signed on to the Bulls for the 2008 season. If this is the case could you please cite the source for the likes of Tadulala, Godwin and Jeffries. Londo06 22:40, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Ayden Faal

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Ayden Faal, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Ayden Faal seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Ayden Faal, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. A tag has been placed on Bradford Bulls Team of the Century, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This entire article is OR.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --דניאל - Dantheman531 17:43, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bradford Bulls Team of the Century

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Bradford Bulls Team of the Century, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. — PyTom (talk) 18:01, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:MoS

[edit]
  • Do not restore the {{leagueicon|Bradford|size=20}} icons to rugby league pages. The icons have already been removed from various pages today, with one article semi-protected as a result. The manual of style is clear about stylistic formatting - it's not acceptable. Thanks, Deiz talk 15:38, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please do not restore or include unverified possible future starting lineups to rugby league (or any) articles - this is a breach of WP:V and has already led to one block today. Thanks, Deiz talk 15:51, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Run-on teams

[edit]

Listing possible future run-on teams is entirely against policy. This goes for all pages. This may be breaking news to some people, so some run-on teams are still listed. Feel free to remove them, with the edit summary "Removing unverifiable per WP:V and WP:NOTNEWS". What you should absolutely not do is rant at administrators in capital letters without understanding Wikipedia policies or the background to the issue you are concerned about. Deiz talk 16:02, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for 24 hours per the warnings on your talk page and this edit. Please read WP:V before resuming editing. Thanks, Deiz talk 01:46, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your block should have expired.. in any case, you were blocked directly, hence that was the wrong template. Try editing? And please respect policy and heed warnings from now on. Thanks, Deiz talk 10:12, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bradford Bulls 2007 Match day Team and Scorers, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Bradford Bulls 2007 Match day Team and Scorers satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bradford Bulls 2007 Match day Team and Scorers and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Bradford Bulls 2007 Match day Team and Scorers during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Deiz talk 12:22, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did you blank the nominated page? Thats not allowed during an AfD debate. If you're planning on including just the scorers on the 2007 page I hope you're planning on improving the formatting. Deiz talk 15:10, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bradford Bulls Super League era has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced, out of date article that merely summarises articles on individual seasons e.g. 1997 Bradford Bulls season

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Bradford Bulls Officials

[edit]

The article Bradford Bulls Officials has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Section for coaching staff/directors is already on Bradford Bulls main page. No need for a seperate article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
