Talkin' 'Bout Soul was Little Richard's twenty-first original album, comprising tracks recorded for Vee-Jay Records in 1964/1965. Although nine of the songs had been released on albums before, including the title track, this was the first time that You Better Stop and Something Moves In My Heart had been included on an album, thus warranting its inclusion into the album chronology.
