Two disruptive users are repeatedly throwing paint smears into the article, claiming the manufacturer uses "antifreeze" in its ice cream products, where there is no scientific source stating such a concern. In fact, the additive is FDA-approved as a safe food ingredient, i.e., it's GRAS and written into the US CFR Title 21 on foods. This is not a content dispute, since the "antifreeze" comment is scientifically indefensible, but rather is blatant intentional vandalism and smearing of what can be a simple, factual article, as of today. I don't really see the kind of edit warring that would justify protection, more like what happens when there's an ongoing talk discussion. Hi, I’d like to request semi-protection for the page [Mudaliar]. It’s been repeatedly targeted by people adding false information that isn’t supported by reliable sources. Some of the changes are also offensive and seem to target a specific community.
I’ve tried reverting the edits, and I’ve seen warnings issued, but the vandalism keeps happening. It’s mostly coming from IP addresses or new accounts. Blocking individual IPs hasn’t helped much because new ones just keep popping up.
Here are a few examples of the edits I’m talking about:
