Bujeok is a Korean thing related to fulu Korean wikipedia has the wikidata connection. But it has such a different image on the right that it is questionable
The reason why amulets are painted in red on a yellow background is that yellow represents light and the light that evil spirits hate the most, and vermilion (朱色) is considered to have the power to drive out ghosts, especially in Central Asian shamanism.
