December 2019 edits to industry section
editSo I'm guessing Kalkaska legalized recreational marijuana sales? At this writing there are 3 retail MJ dispensaries in the entire state, all in A². This isn't a newspaper, it's an encyclopedia. We write about what reliable secondary sources have written about. Generally, a local small town newspaper is not a very reliable source for controversial local information. Newspapers are expected to take a position on local issues. When there is only one, we cannot write about it here because we cannot find neutral sourcing, or even sources on both sides of an issue. In short, until we have either official state or national stats, or in depth journalism on the subject; we do not have enough information to add anything about the MJ business in Kalkaska.
