Dates are wrong

edit

Sterling (and I'm pretty sure SterComm, since IIRC it was a Sterling subsidiary) were sold on Valentine's Day 2000, not in 2001. I was at Sterling at the time, and I'm 100% sure because by 2001 I'd been through the CA transition and two dot-coms. I don't know anything about SyncTrac, so I'm not sure how to fix that section and still have the SyncTrac part make sense. Ideas? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sedaya boroda (talkcontribs) 03:40, 16 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

OK, nobody seems worried, so I fixed it. Sedaya boroda (talk) 03:47, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Move to Connect:Direct

edit

We should rename this article Connect:Direct. NDM is not its name any longer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.69.198.242 (talk) 10:46, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have added this to WP:RM#Uncontroversial requests. I can't see any possible objection, but I felt that noting the fact here was courteous. Robert A.West (Talk) 20:43, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Network Data MoverConnect:Direct — Name should reflect the current, not the historical, name for the product. — Robert A.West (Talk) 18:08, 25 September 2009 (UTC) Robert A.West (Talk) 18:08, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sure.  Skomorokh, barbarian
I agree. Everyone I know refers to it as Connect:Direct now anyway. Robo042 (talk) 19:51, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well OK, but then the article needs to be updated. W Nowicki (talk) 22:21, 17 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Concerning orphan status

edit

I made a minor change to the Sterling Commerce page, noting that Connect:Direct is one of their products for managed file transfers. Hopefully that will suffice to remove the orphan status from this page! Kltk78 (talk) 19:08, 7 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
