- 04:5204:52, 1 May 2021 diff hist +14 Greater Anglia →Future fleet: left the tidying up of this table till last, as it's far smaller than the tables for the current and past fleets
- 04:4704:47, 1 May 2021 diff hist +40 Greater Anglia →Past fleet: finally in this table, tidied the EADT and Eversholt Rail references
- 04:3904:39, 1 May 2021 diff hist −111 Greater Anglia →Past fleet: further tidied the third and final section of the table, for the EMUs
- 04:1604:16, 1 May 2021 diff hist +57 Greater Anglia →Past fleet: further tidied the second section of the table, for the DMUs
- 04:1104:11, 1 May 2021 diff hist +91 Greater Anglia →Past fleet: further tidied the first section of the table, for the loco-hauled stock
- 03:5303:53, 1 May 2021 diff hist +517 Greater Anglia →Past fleet: again, "align=center" -> "style=text-align:center;" for purposes of consistency
- 03:5103:51, 1 May 2021 diff hist −10 Greater Anglia →Past fleet: again, families rather than sets, and the last two digits of the end year in ranges rather than all four
- 03:4603:46, 1 May 2021 diff hist +98 Greater Anglia →Current fleet: finally in this table, tidied the two Rail magazine references
- 03:4203:42, 1 May 2021 diff hist −136 Greater Anglia →Current fleet: tidied the table further, including lining up all the photos by centre-aligning the ones that weren't so aligned already
- 03:2003:20, 1 May 2021 diff hist +811 Greater Anglia →Current fleet: purely for purposes of consistency, "align=center" -> "style=text-align:center;"
- 03:1803:18, 1 May 2021 diff hist −27 Greater Anglia →Current fleet: as regards year ranges, I think it's only necessary to state the last two digits of the end year rather than all four, e.g. 1981–82 rather than 1981–1982
- 03:1403:14, 1 May 2021 diff hist −2 Greater Anglia →Current fleet: being pedantic here but BR Second Generation, Bombardier Electrostar and Aventra, and Stadler FLIRT are families rather than sets. "Trainset" looks rather American, as well as sounding somewhat more appropriate for Hornby models than for actual real-life sets
- 03:0603:06, 1 May 2021 diff hist +75 West Midlands Trains →Past fleet: and finally, tidied this table all in one go, including re-ordering the columns (it makes more sense for the Notes column to come last, IMO)
- 02:5802:58, 1 May 2021 diff hist −59 West Midlands Trains →Future fleet: even more tidying to sort out rowspan issues
- 02:4702:47, 1 May 2021 diff hist −70 West Midlands Trains →Future fleet: tidied this table further, plus the two references in it
- 02:4002:40, 1 May 2021 diff hist +252 West Midlands Trains →Future fleet: again, "align=center" -> "style=text-align:center;" for purposes of consistency
- 02:3802:38, 1 May 2021 diff hist −7 West Midlands Trains →Future fleet: again, families rather than sets, and the last two digits of the end year in ranges rather than all four. Also, <small> tags -> {{small}} template
- 02:2402:24, 1 May 2021 diff hist −2 West Midlands Trains →Current fleet: oops, missed a few bits there. It *is* a pretty big table after all :)
- 02:2102:21, 1 May 2021 diff hist −82 West Midlands Trains →Current fleet: tidied the table further, again more for purposes of consistency than anything else
- 02:1202:12, 1 May 2021 diff hist +591 West Midlands Trains →Current fleet: purely for purposes of consistency, "align=center" -> "style=text-align:center;"
- 02:0302:03, 1 May 2021 diff hist +7 West Midlands Trains →Current fleet: regarding year ranges, except for the one during which the Class 170s were built I think it's only necessary to state the last two digits of the end year rather than all four, e.g. 1992–96 rather than 1992–1996
- 01:5501:55, 1 May 2021 diff hist −2 West Midlands Trains →Current fleet: to be pedantic Bombardier Turbostar, Siemens Desiro, Vivarail D-Train and Parry People Mover are families rather than sets. In any case "trainset" looks rather American, as well as sounding somewhat more appropriate for Hornby models than for actual real-life sets
- 01:4901:49, 1 May 2021 diff hist −41 CrossCountry →Current rolling stock: tidied the table further. Regarding year ranges, except for the range during which the Class 170s were built I think it's only necessary to state the last two digits of the end year rather than all four, e.g. 1976–82 rather than 1976–1982
- 01:4001:40, 1 May 2021 diff hist −3 CrossCountry →Current rolling stock: changed "trainset" to plain "set". This might not be the best word as the Bombardier Turbostar and Voyager are families rather than sets - but "trainset" looks rather American as well as sounding somewhat more appropriate for Hornby sets than for actual real-life sets
- 01:3501:35, 1 May 2021 diff hist −26 Chiltern Railways →Past fleet: tidied this table. The Class 67 locos and the Class 121 "bubble cars" are completely different types of train (aside from both having diesel traction), so the "Trainset" column is somewhat superfluous
- 01:2701:27, 1 May 2021 diff hist +51 Chiltern Railways →Current fleet: widened the Built column so that the year ranges are each on a single line, instead of the end year spilling onto a second line
- 01:2401:24, 1 May 2021 diff hist +16 Chiltern Railways →Current fleet: being pedantic here but Networker, Bombardier Turbostar and Stadler UKLight are families rather than sets. "Trainset" looks rather American, as well as sounding somewhat more appropriate for Hornby sets than for actual real-life sets
- 01:1401:14, 1 May 2021 diff hist +80 First North Western →Rolling stock: may or may not clutter things up here, but I've added other family names as appropriate. In particular, the general public tends to refer to the Class 142s by their family name rather than by their class number...
- 01:0801:08, 1 May 2021 diff hist +2 First North Western →Rolling stock: en dashes for year ranges, rather than hyphens. Also, except for the range during which the Class 175s were built, I think it's only necessary to state the last two digits of the end year rather than all four, e.g. 1956–59 rather than 1956–1959
- 00:5100:51, 1 May 2021 diff hist +56 Wrexham & Shropshire Oops - removed just a bit too much there
- 00:4900:49, 1 May 2021 diff hist −369 Wrexham & Shropshire Tidied the lead. With respect, I wonder if the Welsh name is really all that relevant? The route didn't go *that* far into Wales, and AFAIK Wrexham isn't as Welsh-speaking a place as Anglesey or Carmarthenshire. Also, the reference for the Welsh name failed verification Tag: references removed
- 00:3600:36, 1 May 2021 diff hist +97 Wrexham & Shropshire Tidied the infobox a bit, including adding {{plainlist}} for the fleet and an archive copy of W&S's home page
- 00:2300:23, 1 May 2021 diff hist −149 Wrexham & Shropshire →Fleet: simplified the table. After all, Wrexham & Shropshire only ever operated one route, using the same locos, carriages and DVTs throughout
- 00:1300:13, 1 May 2021 diff hist +23 Virgin Trains East Coast →Fleet at end of franchise: replaced "Driving Van Trailer" in the Type column with the admittedly less specific "Control car", for purposes of consistency with the corresponding tables for VTEC's predecessors and successor
- 00:0900:09, 1 May 2021 diff hist +35 East Coast (train operating company) →Rolling stock: the InterCity 225 DVTs are, technically, control cars rather than proper passenger carriages, despite also being classed as Mark 4
- 00:0600:06, 1 May 2021 diff hist +36 National Express East Coast →Rolling stock: technically, the InterCity 225 DVTs - though classed as Mark 4 like the carriages - are control cars rather than proper passenger carriages
- 00:0400:04, 1 May 2021 diff hist +36 Great North Eastern Railway →Rolling stock: thinking further, the InterCity 225 DVTs - although classed as Mark 4 like the carriages - are control cars as opposed to being proper passenger carriages

- 23:5523:55, 30 April 2021 diff hist +7 London North Eastern Railway →Current fleet: changed the somewhat Hornby-sounding and American-looking "trainset" to plain "set", if nothing else for consistency with the Past Fleet table below
- 23:4823:48, 30 April 2021 diff hist −36 Virgin Trains East Coast →Fleet at end of franchise: tidied the table a bit more. Rowspan is redundant when the argument in question uses only a single row
- 23:4623:46, 30 April 2021 diff hist −5 Virgin Trains East Coast →Fleet at end of franchise: I wonder if plain "set" might be a better word to use than "trainset" for the heading of the first column? "Trainset" does sound somewhat more appropriate for Hornby sets than for actual real-life sets, and as one word rather than two ("train set") it looks rather American too
- 23:4123:41, 30 April 2021 diff hist +18 East Coast (train operating company) →Rolling stock: made further use of rowspan in the table, regarding the respective top speeds of the HSTs and the InterCity 225s
- 23:3823:38, 30 April 2021 diff hist −5 East Coast (train operating company) →Rolling stock: might plain "set" be a better word to use than "trainset", I wonder, for the heading of the first column in the table? "Trainset" does sound somewhat more appropriate for Hornby sets than for actual real-life sets, and as one word rather than two ("train set") it looks rather American too
- 23:3623:36, 30 April 2021 diff hist −5 National Express East Coast →Rolling stock: I wonder if plain "set" might be a better word to use than "trainset" for the heading of the first column in the table? "Trainset" looks a bit American, as well as sounding somewhat more appropriate for Hornby sets than for actual real-life sets
- 23:3123:31, 30 April 2021 diff hist −5 Great North Eastern Railway →Rolling stock: I *will* say, however, that "trainset" *does* look a bit American in addition to sounding somewhat more appropriate for Hornby sets than for actual real-life sets. "Train set", with space, is less American-looking but still Hornby-sounding. Not sure if plain "set" does away with the Hornby connotations altogether, but it might be worth a go. Unless there is an even better term out there?
- 23:1923:19, 30 April 2021 diff hist −53 Great North Eastern Railway With all the respect in the world, Redrose64... I think you know that bit better than to make clear your dislike of "trainset" in *just* this TOC article, and not in any of the other TOC articles (including the ones I linked to in the summary of my previous edit) whose fleet tables use this particular word as one of their column headings. I don't think it would take *that* many more extra minutes to do so. And, again with all due respect, I thought Wikipedia editors were encouraged to be bold? Tag: Manual revert
