ex-Chinese ironclad battleship Zhenyuan (Chin'en), which participated in the battle, is normally counted as a battleship. If it is not counted as a battleship, then the number of gunboats must be 4, including Chokai, Maya and Uji. Either way is fine, not worth an edit war.
