Impact and Reception: Edited for clarity. Catacombs 3-D references this game as it's predecessor and therefor that makes this the first FPS. Catacombs 3-D should receive a clarity edit as well. It is demonstrable that Hovertank is the first followed up by Catacombs and then Wolfenstein.
