corbie's nest

I should be sitting on a plane, getting ready to take off for home, but instead I'm sitting in a SpringHill Suites hotel room with Par Avion (which in itself is v. yay!).

My flight was cancelled, and they couldn't rebook me until 8:00a in the morning, so, yeah. We got a room, and I called the catsitter (sob!), who will tell our boss that I won't be in tomorrow after all. It sucks, but it could be worse - it could have happened on the way to the con!

I had a great time this year, got to hang with most of the folks I wanted to, went to a panel and a few vidshows. I felt pretty spacey and uninteresting - but companionable! My haircut (v. short and spikey) was a great success; I'm already trying to figure out how to top it next year. Although EuniceAMIREAL (oops) did say that every time she caught sight of me out of the corner of her eye, I looked so surprised....

So I'll be home early tomorrow, instead of tonight. I miss my fur people...
