India's semiconductor market to reach $155 bn by 2031, OSAT, ATMP capacity to rise: Report

The report projected a significant ramp-up in India's OSAT/ATMP capacity over the coming years. Target capacity across various projects is expected to rise from 15 million chips per day in CY26 to 48 million chips per day in CY28, driven by developments from CG Semi, Kaynes Semicon, Tata OSAT, and the HCL Group-Foxconn joint venture.
