AgenciesAn IndiGo flight from Trichy to Singapore, carrying 127 passengers, returned to Trichy International Airport around 9 pm on Thursday after circling for nearly two and a half hours following a technical snag.
The flight, which took off at 6.40 pm, remained in continuous communication with airport officials as preparations were made for a safe landing after the aircraft reduced its fuel.

The aircraft landed back at Trichy after completing the necessary safety procedures.

"After circling in the air for two and a half hours, the flight landed at Trichy airport at around 9 pm due to the technical snag," Airport Director Gopalakrishnan said.
He said that an alternative flight was arranged for the passengers, with all 127 passengers to be accommodated on the alternate aircraft and flown to Singapore.
