Elisha grew up in a pastor's family, moving more than ten times with his family. C was raised in a rural Hakka village with a background in Buddhist-Taoist traditions. After each spent nine years preparing for cross-cultural ministry, God brought them together.
EC are like the twelve spies sent out, with brothers and sisters at home also participating in God's Will by watching over us in prayer. The churches, brothers, and sisters back home are the supporters, encouragers, and comforters of the "EC spies" and the ones who provide for our living and ministry needs.
Workers on the field face different languages, cultures, worldviews, and religions daily. Your ongoing involvement from home is essential. As children of the Father, followers of Christ, and members of the church, we should walk together with Him in unity and partnership for the gospel as we receive His mission.
We will regularly send out newsletters to share updates from the field, and occasionally have online meetings.
9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” — Revelation 7
