Lost Weekend
Aug. 24th, 2020 03:26 pmThis weekend I got lost reading The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel. Have you read it? It's a book that's very hard (i.e.) impossible to describe. All I can say is that her writing leaves me feeling kind of woozy and dreamy. But I could not put it down.
She's the author of Station Eleven which I also loved. This one is not about a pandemic, but it has the same feeling. I am not describing this well at all! Sorry!
