👉 Last week we gathered for two productive days with all partners in the #AQUAPLEXUS project. Amongst others, we spend a whole day having a workshop about prioritization, and how to deal with knowledge about "new" contaminants in a water sample. 💡 We also had many good discussions about how to make non-target screening in water samples a high-throughput, reasonable cost, analytical chemical tool without compromising the chemical space too much. ➡️ We are on our way with the development of a standardised/harmonised tool based on three pillars: 🚰 An non-target screening based chemical analysis 🚰 A prioritization tool 🚰 A data storage platform More information available at the AQUAPLEXUS website: https://lnkd.in/d-EnTRsi #NonTargetScreening #UNSDG6 #WaterQuality

Join us for the workshop: Tools for prioritizing chemicals detected with non-target analysis. 🔬 ⚗️ The workshop is open for all but requires registration. 👉 See how to sign up and find the full programme here: https://lnkd.in/dnAEvknd 👈 Non-target analyses provide an overview of substances present in a water sample. But how can we determine whether these substances pose a risk for groundwater and drinking water quality? ↪️ In this workshop, we combine presentations with practical exercises, where we work with the concept of cumulative hazard. The exercises are based on the PharmaRisk-tool, developed as part of the InSa-DrinkingWater project PharmaRisk. The workshop takes place 25 November at 9:00-17:00 on Frederiksberg Campus. 📅 We look forward to an interesting workshop!
