Cold. Heat. Water. The mission doesn't pause for any of them. Harsh-environment performance is an engineering priority at FalCom, reflected in how we design and test: extreme cold to –52°C, heat endurance to 70°C, and submersion to IP68. Our products are built to hold up when conditions turn extreme. We validate against MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461G, balancing lab testing with field validation, because a product that performs in a test must also perform in the mission. Engineered for harsh environments. #FalCom #TacticalGear #DefenseIndustry #EngineeredfortheOperator

  • We're only one week away from DALO Industry Days, Denmark 📣 If you're coming to Herning, stop by to see what FalCom brings to the field. Everything we build runs on one logic, designed for any mission. At our booth you'll see how our systems connect, from headset to control unit to the modules around them, so you can build and adapt the setup a specific role demands. Find us at booth C2809 on 19–20 August. We'd like to see you there. 📍 MCH Messecenter Herning #FalCom #DefenseIndustry #DALO2026 #DALOIndustryDays Forsvarsministeriets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse

  • Information in the field should feel effortless to process. That's why cognitive ease is an engineering priority at FalCom. Clear speech, separated left/right channels, and 3D Audio all reduce the effort an operator spends decoding what's said and who is saying it, so they can act faster. But we know lab performance isn't enough. A headset that works in a test chamber has to work in the field, which is why we validate in both. Engineered for cognitive ease. #FalCom #TacticalGear #DefenseIndustry #EngineeredfortheOperator

  • Would you like to be part of a team where technology meets real-world purpose? We have five open positions at our headquarters in Ballerup: - Head of In-House Manufacturing - Strategic Sourcing & Partner Manager - Planning & Procurement Specialist - Contract & Export Compliance Manager (parental leave cover) - System Field Engineer At FalCom, we engineer products that empower those who protect us. In practice, that means developing technology that supports operators through tactical communications, delivering clean sound, maintaining situational awareness, and protecting their hearing in the most demanding environments. Behind every one of those products, there's a team making sure it gets built, sourced, and delivered to the operators who depend on it. If that's the kind of work you do, one of these roles might be yours. Curious about any of these roles? The links are in the comments 👇 Know someone who'd be a good fit? Share this post with them 🫡

  • "When I mention that I work in the defence industry, people often seem a bit surprised. But also a bit more curious". Magnus Sam Larsen joined FalCom as a student assistant in February 2024 and is today part of our mechanical engineering team in Ballerup. He started during the winter holiday, with a quiet first day, and began testing and developing cable modules. He has been working on cables ever since, alongside other new products. He went full time in March, the day before his final exam at DTU, while also moving into a new apartment the same week. "It sounds maybe a bit overwhelming, but it actually felt good to just start straight away". Two student years meant the part that usually drains you in a new job, learning the systems, the people, the way things move, was already behind him. What he had been warned about was something else. "When you come from a student position into a full-time position at the same workplace, many people will still look at you as the student assistant. My team celebrated me on my first full-time day, and we have only joked about me being the new guy". The bigger difference was being here every day, alongside his team. "Earlier I was here once or twice a week, and each time I arrived at the office I had almost forgotten where I left off. Not only on projects, but also on my colleagues' work and life, and on FalCom news in general. A lot can happen in FalCom within a few days". As a student he had developed several connector modules for new cables, and most were straightforward. One was not. "It sounds very simple, because we have our typical methods. But these connectors turned out to have a lot of challenges". It was larger than what we usually work with, it did not fit the process we normally use, and almost nothing could be reused from earlier solutions. One or two days a week in the office stretched it out across most of his student years. "That project haunted me throughout most of my time as a student worker". He closed it in his first months as a full-time engineer, working closely with our technicians, toolmaker and suppliers. The connector became simpler to assemble and closer in design to the rest of our products. Ask him what actually sets this work apart and he does not talk about the industry in the abstract. He talks about who ends up holding the product. "Soldiers can be put in extreme and very specific situations, and our products have to follow that. We consider robustness, material selection and usability at a level that is probably higher than in many other markets". Magnus is now an Associate Mechanical Engineer at FalCom, and the first person we are featuring under #FacesofFalCom. #FalCom #EmployeeHighlight #DefenceIndustry #TacticalCommunications

  • Engineering equipment operators can trust means proving it first. At FalCom, that starts with testing our products to their limits. Resilience is proven in two places. At our headquarters in Ballerup, we run controlled stress testing: extreme heat and cold, submersion, and physical trials like shaking, vibrating, stretching, and dropping, monitoring every relevant parameter as we go. And in the field, alongside our customers, where the conditions are real and nothing is controlled. A product is only ready when it holds up in both. We test to the limit so the operator never has to find out where it is. Engineered for the operator | Harsh environments. #FalCom #TacticalCommunications #EngineeredfortheOperator #HearingProtection
