Rewatching Twin Peaks now. It remains awesome, with one of my favourite setups for a story/show—the complete small town normalcy with the supernatural on the fringes. Ugh. It's so surreal and awesome. I found it on Netflix, totally recommend. 

I did some catching up on Marvel's spate of movies this weekend.

I was late to this party as well as Constantine and Blade, all of which I love like crazypants. I am a big John/Liz/Hellboy & John/Liz & John/Hellboy shipper, NGL. Someone once said that John was wussy and irrelevant to the plot and it's a good thing my teleporter was broken. Ugh, NO.

I just ran out of steam with Dragon Age 2 after only two play throughs. I didn't pick up the DLC with the Felicia Day character because, seriously, woman is way too MPDG* for me and I didn't love DA2 enough to shell out to listen to her play some elf, especially with zero continuity with the main storyline. I worked my damn ass off to get my romance down, I want it to matter in the DLC. That's like not porting over my runes or weapons or something, or throwing out all the friend/rival scores with the other NPCs. Ugh, no. But DA2 sucked for continuity to start. 

This means that for now, I'm done with Dragon Age... well, I did buy the RPG and will be running it, but... I got the blues so bad right now. I can't bear to pick up the DA novels in case they're horrible, I couldn't take that. Lawd, no. Badfic + blues would kill me now.

Not even my complete Due South collection is helping. Bitching aside, and the fact that DA2 was a sorry thing next to DA:O+A, I am staring at the black TV screen and feeling deflated. I don't even want to pick at my (m)Hawke/Fenris fic... or start any (f)Hawke/Carver angsty incest fic. Don't even talk to me about DA:O Hero/Alistair/Anora threesome fic, not now. *staples hand to forehead*  I just can't. 

*sobs in a corner* It's all over, y'all. I will never love again. Us who love late love hard, I tell you. I'm taking to my bed. Mentally, at least, because someone's got to vacuum this floor.  Then maybe I'll play Fable III again... for the eleventyth time.
