What bird have you always wanted to meet?

For me it’s the Laughing Kookaburra! I’ve seen so many videos and pictures of them. They are high on my list for sure. They look like they would have such a fun personality! I’ve also yet to meet any ostriches. That would be interesting 😂

Bird Fantasy Art!

Hopefully you folks like fantasy art inspired by birds. This guy was a character I played in a Dungeons and Dragons game based off a greater roadrunner. Fun part is I played a class that used the roadrunners natural abilities to digest and neutralize venom.

Cardinal spotted

Sometimes I feel like it's actually in reverse and the bird spots you, instead of the other way around. Look at this little red fella! Taken on my phone. Surprised how good the zoom quality turned out on some of these shots!

Majestic Bald Eagle Swimming Across A Lake

Filmed this clip this morning. Saw a huge splash and looked. There was a second bald eagle trying to get whatever the one in the water had. At the end of the video you can see it's a black bird of some sort, I think most likely a common gallinule (SW Florida)... Wish I could post

Hah so fun fact. I was on about.digg.com and I noticed that Digg is for People. But it later transitioned to Birdwatchers and got a chuckle out of me. It's official. Digg is officially for the birds!

Two Dabbling Ducks

I just learned that mallards are also known as “dabbling ducks” because they feed in shallow freshwater by tipping their heads underwater with their tails up. They’re also known as “puddle ducks” for this reason. How wonderful is that? I took this photo from my phone while
