While I was in PV this past winter, I stayed for a week in a hotel, two buildings over from the condo my friends were in, before I moved over to stay with my friends Liz and Grant. My room was fantastic. It was large and had a balcony which looked out diagonally at both, the ocean/beach on one side, and the city and mountains on my right. But more than the great views and dining on my balcony, there was one night while I was waiting to capture great sunset pictures, but I also noticed some spectacular cloud patterns in the sky. And then I saw a green orb. I followed it with my eye. I wasn’t sure if I was seeing things, and happened to be on the phone talking to a girlfriend at the time. I turned my phone’s camera so she could see what I thought I was seeing. She could.

How cool is that orb? I took a few shots because I wasn’t sure what I was seeing. No other shots had this orb except when I shot pics from this same area.

Most of you know I’m familiar with spirit, from the numerous articles I’ve written for Sally Cronin’s Smorgasbord Blog Magazine series, as well as previously with Sisters of the Fey. I’m sensitive to spirit and angels and since I was a child I was mesmerized by clouds. They tell stories – and leave messages for those who understand how to interpret them.
This particular evening, there appeared to be lots going on in the sky. I saw animal and face-shaped clouds and that one constant green orb.
I kept seeing this image in the clouds. I’m not sure if it resembles a bird or a rose to my vision?

If I tilt my head to left, I see the eyes and even a face. Is it a puppy? I see eyes, a nose and ears.

If I turn my head down to left, I see a face looking or blowing down, agasp, wondering what the heck is going on, on earth? If I look head on, I see that same puppy face looking head on to the upper left.

So what is an orb, you may be wondering?
Most people second-guess whether it’s really an orb they are seeing or if it’s a spot on their camera lens. Green orbs can be nature sprites, others take them as angels or one of our spirit guides wrapped in a green ball of energy (light) sending us a message. Not unlike signs we often find like coins or feathers sent from above. They are sphere-like, like a bubble that aren’t always seen with the naked eye, but can be picked up through camera lens. Green orbs are particularly linked with healing. So each individual would translate that orb’s message personally. It could be, sending healing light, or perhaps, a message reminded to take time to heal and urge to release pain or hurt. They are linked to energy and guidance. Green orbs are also linked to our Heart Chakras, and message could pertain to reminder to open the heart.
Ghosts and spirits are energy. People die, but energy doesn’t. This is how the soul lives after the body dies. (My belief). This is also why they say orbs send forth messages, and depending on the size and color mean different things.
I took the message that my heart chakra is undoubtedly blocked by the grief that resides within me. It was like a little nudge to unplug the blockage to attain a higher spiritual level by opening myself up to new possibilities.
