India-made AK-203 prototype marks a new phase in rifle indigenisation

Indo-Russian Rifles has produced and test-fired the first AK-203 prototype made entirely from Indian inputs, according to The Times of India. The milestone could help the Army programme move faster, even as veterans say the project has taken too long to mature.
