Love is Snoopy

Yep another picture heavy post but I was determined to make another Tri shutter card that actually laid flat and this week at Simon Says Stamps Challenge is for Animal Antics a reason to use my Stampabilities Snoopy stamps.

Love that I can use more than one snoopy stamp in this case I've used Snoopy Driving Woodstock, Snoopy Kisses and Golfing Snoopy.

I made the button with circle punches and using a Cropadile to make button holes and then threaded with twine and got incredible sticky trying to stick the curls down.

Look it folds flat. The papers are My Minds Eye Lime Twist can't wait for the new fab papers being release at CHA.

I just cut some triangles to make the Kite bunting and more sticky fingers for the twine swirls.

Here it is in its entirety, the reason for the sentiments is because when I first met my Hubby he had quite a few Snoopy books and we used to read them together.

Sparkling Snoopy

It's Sparkle and Bling Challenge this week on Simon Says Stamps Challenge and the team are showcasing HM stamps but although I love these cute stamps I don't seem to be able to do them justice so I decided to use a Snoopy who is made by Stampabilities the same manufacture.
I actually thought the tennis ace would be ideal for my tennis mad son but he's got a dodgy knee and hasn't been able to play for months so I didn't use him for his birthday.
So this was the perfect opportunity.

 You don't have to use HM or Snoopy stamps to enter the challenge but if fancy a little bit of shopping do check out the Simon Says Stamps Store.
I've also used First Editions Summer Breeze and I made the tennis net by punch out two Martha Stewart garden trellis punch, cutting off the scallop bit and then joined them together.
Another handy die to have is the MFT clouds and I've used them quite a lot recently and this time I faux stitched round them, then I had to faux stitch all the mats too.
Now you might be wondering where the sparkle and bling is, well I stickled the racket and the swing, yes I know its a bit of cheat but if a DT member can do (me) so can you but don't tell the boss!

Move it, Move it

Did you join in the Simon Says Stamps blog last week if now why not you missed out on a fabulous prize.
So on to this weeks Simon Says Stamps challenge Time to Move it, guess you can interpretate in all sort of ways. Now for me this was a brilliant challenge it means I can use this fab stamp from Stampendous called torn paper window.
I first saw this on card done by Francoise Read who told me it was one she had for years so you can imagine how over the moon I was to see it on Simon Says Stamps, it so had to come home to me. And its perfect for Snoopy who also came from Simon Says Stamps they have a huge selection of Snoopys.
The card is a dinky one, both stamps looked quite small on a normal 14.5cm square so I made a 10cm only because I knew I had some envelopes this size. But we know all the best things come in small packages.

Flying High Snoopy

Have I told you how pleased my order from Simon Says Stamps arrived last week, I have haven't I but this card just wouldn't have been done. The challenge on Simon Says Stamps Challenge is for Father's Day and Simon has the amazing collection of Snoopy Stamps which is perfect for the challenge.
We have a soft spot for Snoopy, when I met my Hubby he had loads of Charlie Brown and Snoopy books.
Also on Fran's blog a few weeks ago she used an Hero Arts Cloud stamp, well I couldn't get my hands on one till I discovered that Simon had one and as you can see I used it for the background. I know I have a template but its quite hard on the hands especially a large area.
The papers are Summer Designs download, I believe is could be called Freedom but it was a while I downloaded it. The sentiment is one I discovered I had from where I do not know and to finish off a couple of Cuttlebug corners. Hope you can join us this week and as always the prize is:
