𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨? 🏙️ This question sparked a lively discussion as we welcomed around 50 participants from the Bucerius Summer School to the MOIA office in Berlin. The Bucerius Summer School brings together young professionals from across disciplines and countries for an intensive ten-day program focused on today’s most pressing global challenges. As part of this year’s program, the group visited MOIA to learn how a technology company is working to shape the future of mobility in Germany and beyond. We shared the vision behind our product, the economic and societal opportunities of autonomous mobility and introduced the MOIA Mobility Impact Analyzer, which allows us to simulate future mobility systems and explore how different mobility concepts could impact cities. Thank you to the Bucerius Summer School participants for the thoughtful questions, fresh perspectives, and engaging discussion. We enjoyed exchanging ideas with the next generation of leaders on how mobility can evolve in Germany and beyond.

MOIA hat dies direkt geteilt
A new day at Arendalsuka, Norway’s largest political event. The event brings together policymakers and representatives from across business and public institutions to discuss a remarkably broad range of topics shaping Norway’s future. This year, autonomous mobility has a much stronger presence on the agenda, a sign of the growing importance of autonomous driving in Norway, which is also reflected in the many conversations taking place throughout the week. It’s a great opportunity to discuss what it takes to bring autonomous mobility into regular operations and integrate it into existing public transport networks. Autonomous mobility has also been part of the session on stage, with MOIA joining Ruter, Møller Mobility Group, Skift and Norway’s Minister of Transpor, Jon-Ivar Nygård. It is encouraging to see the conditions for scaling autonomous mobility receiving this level of political attention. Norway has already created strong conditions for testing autonomous mobility, with a clear ambition for it to make mobility more efficient and help reduce dependence on private cars. Building on this progress, the next step is to create the regulatory conditions for regular operations at scale and across larger service areas. Our pilot project with Ruter As and Holo shows how this ambition is already taking shape. We are working together to advance autonomous ridepooling as part of the city’s future mobility system.
