Time for a reunion 🫶🏼 Jan Maubach joined us to lead our events efforts and I couldn't be more excited 🥰 Events have been central to us at Langdock from the start. We realized early on that AI is such a new topic that people genuinely value the chance to exchange with peers. So we started hosting AI adoption dinners and launched "The Dock", our own conference - which has grown from 150 to 250 to 500 participants. The feedback from these events has been great, so we want to create even more opportunities for people to meet and exchange in person. With Jan, we found the perfect person to help us make that happen. I've known Jan for a few years through CHEFTREFF, where he was one of the driving forces behind making it what it is today. I've seen him handle operations for the 10,000-person conference like it's nothing. He’s deeply curious about AI and bringing structure to complex processes. He’s also the most passionate person I know when it comes to creating memorable experiences - all while juggling 1,000 things and still making time to check in on everyone around him. This role sits right at the center of that shift. As an Enterprise Technical Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract, while bringing the technical depth to build real credibility with IT leaders, security teams, architects, engineers, and executive buyers. We’re looking for someone who can: ▸ run complex enterprise sales cycles end to end ▸ build trust with both technical and executive stakeholders ▸ lead technical discovery around MCPs, integrations, and architecture ▸ translate platform complexity into clear business value We're also increasingly serving fantastic international companies in UK, Spain, Italy and France – native speakers wanted! Europa hat viele KI-Start-ups, die man im Auge behalten sollte. Langdock ist eines davon. Das Berliner Unternehmen hat seit der Gründung 2023 eine spannende Entwicklung hingelegt. Die jährlich wiederkehrenden Erlöse beziffert das Start-up auf 40 Millionen Dollar, mehr als 10.000 Unternehmenskunden habe man inzwischen. 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗸𝘁: eine KI-Plattform, mit der Unternehmen KI-Modelle im Arbeitsalltag nutzen können. Datensouveränität und europäische Server sind das große Versprechen. Jetzt stellt sich das Unternehmen neu auf: Die frühe Investorin Judith Dada wechselt von der Kapital- auf die Führungsseite und leitet Langdock künftig mit Mitgründer Lennard Schmidt. Interessant ist, was jetzt kommt. „We're going down the stack", sagt Dada der F.A.Z. Bislang sitzt Langdock ganz oben im „Stack“, auf der Anwendungsebene, wo Mitarbeiter mit Sprachmodellen chatten. Wohin genau es geht, lässt sie zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt noch offen. Doch die Richtung ist klar: mehr Unabhängigkeit beim Hosting von Modellen und Infrastruktur. Für die F.A.Z. Crazy week last week 🤯 We might’ve just had one of our biggest weeks ever at Langdock. Two major things happened: We announced Judith Dada as Co-CEO. Judith is easily the most purposeful, well-spoken and relentless person I know when it comes to AI and standing up for Europe. Her becoming an operator after 10 years in investing is a very unusual and bold move, and it says everything about her conviction. She’s already making waves and will officially start in September. We couldn’t be luckier 🫶🏼 In the same week, we hosted the third edition of The Dock - our invite-only AI forum. The Dock is one of the biggest projects in my role, so Friday was a big big day for me. Seeing 500 AI leads come together, our entire team being on-site to take over everything from accreditation to merch to create a great event experience, Tobias delivering a Steve Jobs-like product roadmap keynote (huge props!), and all the small moments and interactions in between made my heart go 📈 One of my personal highlights was our boat afterparty with Jan as DJ (after he moderated the main stage like he had never done anything else in his life). We had so much fun on the dancefloor, and it was yet another reminder of how much it matters who you surround yourself with. Sometimes I can’t believe how lucky I am with Langdock. The opportunity to build something really big (with so many banger news ahead 🤫). Working with customers on a topic that actually matters. But most importantly, the team. I couldn’t imagine another place that would make me feel this much like: “I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.” I’m happy everything went so well and grateful for the feedback we received.
