Habyt is sharpening its focus on the future of hospitality and premium aparthotel concepts. As part of our ongoing strategic refocus, Habyt has completed the sale of its co-living portfolios in France, Portugal and Spain, covering assets in Paris, Lisbon and Madrid. This follows the recently announced sale of our Asia-Pacific portfolio, and marks another step in concentrating the Habyt brand around hospitality-led assets in our core European markets. Co-living is where Habyt began, and it remains an important part of the wider flexible living landscape. As the model evolves, Habyt will focus on larger full-building properties that combine serviced apartments, hospitality standards, wellness, F&B, shared amenities and different lengths of stay – from one day to one month. Our mission remains the same: offering accessible accommodation to international and urban guests who seek a more adaptable way of traveling and staying. The way we deliver it is becoming more focused, more scalable and more hospitality-led.

Over the past years, we built a strong and profitable platform across Singapore and Hong Kong, serving a growing base of expatriates, professionals, and international residents. Demand for flexible living in gateway cities continues to be structural, and we are confident Mitsubishi Estate is the right long-term partner to scale the business locally. For Habyt, this transaction allows a clear refocus: doubling down on Europe and on our core Flex product, where we see the strongest opportunity to scale. At the same time, we continue to evolve toward a more asset-light model globally -prioritizing brand, distribution, and technology over operational intensity. What happens when living starts to learn from hospitality? For years, housing has been shaped by rigid contracts, slow processes and systems that ask residents to adapt first. But expectations have changed. Routines are more hybrid and often shaped around two priorities: productivity and wellbeing. People want homes that support both: a place where living feels more integrated, more flexible, and less rigid. That is part of what makes flex living so relevant today. It responds to a way of life that no longer fits neatly into old categories, where the line between living, working, and recharging is more fluid. Exciting news from Habyt Brussels 🇧🇪 Following its recognitions as Best Tall Building (100–199 meters) and Best Tall Building Europe, ZIN has been named World’s Best Tall Building 2025 by the Council on Vertical Urbanism, also known as the “Oscars of high-rise architecture”. Habyt operates a total of 169 units in this iconic building, which stood out for its transformation of a former 1970s office complex into a mixed-use property, combining workspaces, housing, hospitality and public amenities.
