We celebrate Marco Ciuraks 15-year anniversary at DFROST Retail Identity. Over the past 15 years, Marco has become an integral part of DFROST's journey. Starting as a Project Manager, he quickly took responsibility for complex production projects and large-scale POS campaigns, helping to bring retail concepts to life with precision and reliability. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, Marco has continuously expanded his expertise. From managing international production projects to becoming a certified specialist in export and customs management, he has grown into a trusted Key Account Manager for one of our largest clients while playing an important role in the strategic development of our production partner network. But beyond projects and production, Marco is also known for the little moments that bring the team together. Whenever a beautifully prepared snack platter appears in the kitchen, we instantly know Marco has been there. And his legendary homemade pizza have become a true yearly team tradition, bringing everyone together around great food, conversations, and Aperol. Thank you, Marco, for 15 years of dedication, expertise, and partnership. We’re grateful to have you as part of the DFROST journey and look forward to many more years together. Happy Anniversary! 🎉 #DFROST #RetailIdentity #BrandCompanions #ProductionTeam #Anniversary

Spotted by Michèle G.: A whisky you can step into. At Ardbeg House, flavour and heritage become atmosphere. The space translates the character of whisky into interiors that feel dark, layered and full of personality. What makes it inspiring is how strongly the brand identity is carried through the entire experience. Warm light, rich textures, deep colours and expressive details create a place that feels as bold and distinctive as the whisky itself. The result is more than a hotel. It is flavour, turned into space. A sensory brand world where materiality, storytelling and atmosphere come together in one immersive experience. #dfrost #retailidentity #inspiration #experience

Created and developed by CAYA Studios (Come As You Are), DFROST brought KARL LAGERFELD's iconic White Shirt into a modular retail concept, designed for a seamless rollout across the Breuninger flagship stores in Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, and Munich. Combining brand heritage with a contemporary spatial language, the pop-up concept blended illuminated lightboxes, mirrored vitrines, and a reduced material palette into a clear and focused customer experience. Designed for flexibility and consistency, the modular brand space created a distinctive retail presence while adapting effortlessly to each location. #dfrost #retailidentity #karllagerfeld #caya #brandspace #popup #retaildesign

DFROST GOES San Sebastian For our team trip, the Brand Companions set off to discover the Basque Country. Starting in Bilbao, where architecture, culture and urban rhythm created the first moments of inspiration, and continuing to San Sebastian, where the weekend truly unfolded. Between ocean swims, coastal walks, sailing, hiking trails and local food. The trip became more than a change of scenery. It became a moment to slow down, discover new perspectives and spend time together outside the usual project rhythm. From the Guggenheim Museum to a traditional cider house, from pintxos in the old town to long conversations around the table. All in all, it was a weekend shaped by movement, culture, good food and the kind of moments that bring a team closer together. Because companionship is not only something we talk about. It is something we experience, share and build together. #DFROST #BrandCompanions #TeamTrip #Bilbao #partoftheteam

Spotted by Christoph Stelzer: A beauty store beyond product display. Tamburins turns fragrance into a spatial experience. Instead of presenting scent only through product and packaging, the brand creates a world of objects, textures and atmosphere. What makes it inspiring is the way every detail feels intentionally staged. Sculptural forms, soft materials and unexpected visual moments turn the store into something closer to an art space than a classic beauty retail environment. The result is a brand world you can feel. A place where fragrance becomes spatial, product presentation becomes storytelling and retail creates curiosity beyond the shelf. #dfrost #retailidentity #inspiration #experience

For the Pre-Fall 2026 campaign, Akris builds on a reduced graphic visual language defined by clean lines, geometric compositions and bold color contrasts. DFROST translated this approach into a precise spatial window concept, bringing clarity and structure into the urban retail context. Defined surfaces and architectural compositions create a clear visual hierarchy, while accentuated color fields introduce depth and guide the eye. The garments are embedded within this graphic framework, becoming part of the overall composition. A reduced window staging designed for clarity, focus and a strong visual presence at the point of sale. Photo: Martin Joppen #DFROST #RetailIdentity #AKRIS #WindowCampaign #PreFall2026

For our latest Team Lunch, Josha Veldheer and Yiran Zeng took over the kitchen and shared something they both love: Asian food. With fresh flavors, good company and a table full of laughter, they created one of those moments that remind us what companionship at DFROST is really about. Good food, shared time and team spirit around one table. And because good traditions are meant to continue, the Kochlöffel has already been passed on to the next Brand Companion. #DFROST #retailidentity #BrandCompanions #Kochlöffel #TeamLunch #Companionship #TeamSpirit

We celebrate the 15-year anniversary of Kim Schopf and Silke Scheytt at DFROST Retail Identity. Over the past years, both have played an essential role in shaping not only our creative work, but also DFROST as a brand. With their creative vision, high standards and passion for excellence, they have helped define the way we think, design and bring brand experiences to life. Kim’s journey started at DFROST as a working student and evolved through multiple roles into Creative Director today. Silke has been a key creative force within the agency, bringing her strong background in design and visual communication into projects, processes and the identity of DFROST itself. What connects them is more than their role. It is a long-standing creative partnership, a deep sense of trust and a friendship that has grown over the years. Thank you, Kim and Silke, for 15 years of ideas, excellence, dedication and creative collaboration. We’re grateful to have you as part of our journey and excited for everything still to come. #DFROST #RetailIdentity #BrandCompanions #CreativeDirection #Anniversary

What happens when a brand becomes something people can physically step into? In our latest Expert Talk, we speak with QILIN CAI, former Global Brand Experience Lead at Gübelin, about the evolving role of physical retail in luxury environments. For Qilin, retail is no longer just a place for transactions. It is a stage for emotional storytelling; where heritage, craftsmanship and brand values become tangible through light, materiality, proportion and atmosphere. Together, we explore why creative consistency across all touchpoints matters, how spatial storytelling shapes memorable brand experiences and what it takes to translate conceptual ideas into precise physical environments. A conversation about luxury retail, restraint, production precision and the power of meaningful brand experiences.
