Goal of the Project

To help our fellow humans with getting accurate and mostly unbiased information in times of crisis. Paid services, and product or service recommendations will not be allowed, partisan news sources will not be allowed, and any source which promotes violence will not be allowed.

The goal here is to spread information that will be helpful.

• Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) The CDC put together an "Emergency Preparedness and Response" section to help share important information during a disease related crisis.

• Trans Lifeline.org A hotline for the trans community by the trans community. Also provides microgrants for non-profits offering direct emotional, and financial support to trans people in crisis.
• Trans Journalists Association Is a group that specializes in nuanced coverage of trans issues and communities in the media and supports gender-expansive journalistns
• GI Rights Hotline A resource for Military personnel. If you are being ordered to violate the Constitutional rights of US citizens then this is the website for the GI Rights Hotline. 1-877-447-4487
• 211.org A hotline for assistance for Disasters, Crisis and emergencies, Essential Needs and more.
• United Way World-wide A multipurpose non-profit organization that can help with financial stability, education, health, and more.
• Suicide Prevention Hotline A lifeline for those struggling with mental health. - 1-800-273-8255
• National Human Trafficking Hotline A lifeline to help those who know of, or who are victims of human trafficking. - 1-888-373-7888
• Planned Parenthood A great resource for matters of sexual health.
• American Civil Liberties Union An organization that works with the courts to defend and preserve the individual rights of all people.

• Tenant Resource Center This resource center is primarily focused on Dane county in Wisconsin, but has some valuable information for tenants during disasters, and just in general.
