It doesn't work – but the cat is cool ^^

The Liminal community · Created a new topic bug

A liminal game in the dark definitely has a special vibe. Unfortunately, I clipped through the floor in the 'pool world' and had to Alt+F4 out of the game, which is a shame. It looked really interesting up until that point.

Cool horror game. I really liked the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, I was too bad at it to finish it ^^

Unfortunately, I’m not very good at games where you're chased under time pressure ;) otherwise, it's a really solid game. Keep it up!

Sadly, only in Cyrillic.

Okay, my bad. I didn't realize it was keyboard-only, sry ;) That was a completely new gaming experience for me. To make it short... I had fun. Great job!

Could this game be translated into English? It looks really promising, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. ^^

A cool game to leave your everyday life behind :) I was highly entertained! Your game is the fourth one in the video.

Hi! This is a video about your game 'It Barks at Night'. Unfortunately, I couldn't find your direct page. Please keep working on this project—the idea behind it is awesome! Your video is the third one.

A really cool game. It’s definitely something different :) Keep being creative! Your game comes in second.

In principle, a cool game. Unfortunately, the monster got stuck directly in the wall and didn't move. I think that's something you should polish. Graphics and sound design are really okay. Keep at it! Your game features first in the video.

Visually, it’s got a great retro style that really hits the mark. The story in general should be familiar to any sci-fi fan. My only gripe is that the text sometimes overlapped, making it impossible to read. Other than that, I have no complaints ;) Great job!

Cool little horror game! All the phone calls leave you with hardly any time to restock shelves and clean ^^. The camera pans when you try to escape and the breathing sounds fit really well. I wonderfully enjoyed your game, keep it up!

Well, I can't move away from the bed. The mouse pointer is in the picture, and with 'WASD' I can look around slightly on the spot. That's all so far.

My pleasure! Here are the music tracks...

We had a lot of fun playing the game. Thumbs up!

First off, your game is brilliantly executed in terms of story, graphics, and sound. The art style is truly unique—at least, I’ve never seen anything like it before! ;) I actually predicted the plot, or at least the ending, but I was secretly hoping I’d be wrong. I won’t post any spoilers here, though ;) In Germany, we have a saying for this kind of experience: it’s 'heavy food' (meaning it's deeply profound, emotionally heavy, and hard to digest).

Unfortunately, you also have 2 copyright violations because of the music in your game. Streamers who make money from this will either avoid the game or have to play it without sound. Better keep an eye on that next time! ;)

Please label a game in this state as a 'prototype' or an 'early alpha'. Players expect a finished game, but instead, they get an empty house with no story and no ending. That being said... for a prototype, it at least runs smoothly and the sound effects are good. Keep working on it! ;)

An interesting little horror game. The story surrounding the house was good and really helped build the atmosphere. Unfortunately, right at the beginning, it had that typical Unreal Engine issue where the screen darkens when you get too close to something. It was also a bit weird that you had to press 'E' to open some doors, while others just opened upon contact. I liked the sound effects too, even though you never actually saw anything fall over. Despite my minor criticisms, I think your game is definitely a success, but it might just need a little more fine-tuning.

A really entertaining and dark horror game :) I absolutely loved the interaction with the characters and the atmosphere. Great job!

Your concept demo works. Of course, you still run into dead ends and things like that at the moment, but that’s totally normal for a prototype. I’ll definitely keep an eye on your project, and I’d love to do a Let's Play once it's ready. Keep at it!

A horror game of a different kind :) Once you figure out what to click and where, it’s really fun! The variety in the gameplay is also great. Some people will probably complain about the waiting time between customers, but personally, I thought it was fine because it helps build tension and atmosphere. However, I only got the "Bad Ending" and didn't want to start all over again ;) Great job!

Hey, back again! I just got a chance to test your game and it’s honestly awesome. The story is super creepy—I literally got goosebumps while playing. I really hope you stick with game development, I can't wait to see what you do next. Good job!

Man oh man... you go on vacation for just three days, and then Vuc drops a new game and I can't even play it until later ;) I really dig the paper cutout/cardboard figure style, just like in the last game! I didn't run into any bugs, everything ran perfectly. As always, great work!

Simple yet effective visuals, and the sound alone creates such an oppressive atmosphere. Great job! Your game is the fourth one in the video.

A minimalist little horror game! I thought the idea behind it was great. You should definitely integrate this concept into a bigger project. Keep at it! Your game is the third one featured in the video.

Entertaining little horror game! I couldn't escape the enemy either... hihi. But that was either by design or I was just being incompetent as usual ^^ Your game is the second one in the video!

Cool idea for a horror game! Your game is featured first in the video! :)

Awesome horror game. Really hope you keep developing this promising demo!

I was literally freezing just from the sound and atmosphere ^^ Such an entertaining little horror game!

I’m just trying out your older games right now. No two games are alike—now that’s what I call creative! :) The atmosphere of the factory grounds comes across really well. There are a lot of dialogues, but they never get boring. The model for the villain, with the half-head, is really well done! Keep it up, and see you next time ;)

After the very similar 'Meow' and 'Bark' games, this is something completely different ;) I really liked the setting and the simple gameplay mechanics. It was also great that you have multiple options to take action at the end. Keep it up. Good work!

I was actually looking forward to this game a bit. Unfortunately, it freezes after about 5 minutes. I click on a picture in the apartment, and after that, I can only spin in place.

Oh man, I just tried out and recorded the demo yesterday, and today the full game is already out... I should have waited a day ;) I'll definitely check out the full version in the next few days, I really liked the demo. Best of luck in the future!

I like the idea behind it. Keep at it!

A new game trailer of yours actually popped up on my YouTube feed ;) Once again, something completely unique both graphically and thematically. I spent way too much time running around the forest... whether it was to explore everything... yeah, okay, I got lost ;) I'm really curious to see how this prototype/demo turns out in the end. Great job!

Wow, this game really came out of nowhere. It already looks incredibly good, even though my PC doesn't really like Unreal Engine ;) I turned the graphics down and it still looks fantastic. The change of scenery, the little jumpscares, the minor puzzles, and the chase (that one caught me completely off guard)... everything already feels really well-balanced. The story, graphics, and the entire sound design are great. I’m really looking forward to the full version and will definitely keep an eye on you guys! :)

Wow, not easy having a dog as a boss ^^. This game is definitely something different and really fun! Good job!
