Stamp of Spain; 1952; commemorative stamp of the issue "35th International Eucharistic Congress" (not how mentions in different catalogues: "25th..."); The Catholic "XXXVth International Eucharistic Congress" took place in the time from 27 May 1952 until 1 June 1952 date QS:P,+1952-00-00T00:00:00Z/9,P580,+1952-05-27T00:00:00Z/11,P582,+1952-06-01T00:00:00Z/11 in Barcelona (Spain) under the motto "Peace".; It was the first Eucharistic Congress after the WWII.; The stamp motive shows a depiction of the (female) Saint "Sister (Abbreviation on the stamp "STA" = "Santa") Maria Micaela Desmaisaires (1809-1865) as (female) founder of the Catholic "Order of the most holy sacraments and of the love (charity)" (Latin: "Congreatio Sanctissimi Sacramenti") and as depction of a painting of an unknown artist.; The successor organisation, commonly known as the "Sacramentinos", (= "Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament" (for men) and "Servants of the Blessed Sacrament" (for women), was founded by the Saint Priest Pierre-Julien Eymard (1811-1868) (Catholic Priest) in Paris on . Its members use the nominal letters S.S.S. which is the acronym of the official name as members of this order in Latin, after their names. By their life and activities, they assist the Church in her efforts to form Christian communities whose center of life is the Eucharist.
