Description
English: Maj. Gen. Isaac Johnson, Jr., commanding general, U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) takes a quiet moment on Omaha beach May 31, 2023, during a historical staff ride as part of D-Day 79 ceremonies and observances. USACAPOC(A) Soldiers spent two days on the staff rides led by historians Dave McNeil and Keith Nightingale, both retired Army Colonels, providing an opportunity for the Soldiers to live history as they walked the ground the Allies liberated in 1944.
