Phoques gris (Halichoerus grypus) d'une colonie des Iles Scilly au sud-ouest de l'Angleterre. En France, les phoques gris sont présents en Bretagne et en Manche, avec notamment des colonies aux 7 Iles (Côtes d'Armor), dans l'archipel de Molène (Finistère), et depuis quelques années aux iles de Glénan (Finistère sud). Il semble que la plupart des phoques gris visibles en France effectuent des allers-retours saisonniers avec des sites des îles Britanniques. Le phoque gris est une espèce protégée.

English:

Grey seals ( Halichoerus grypus ) from a colony in the Isles of Scilly in southwest England. In France, grey seals are present in Brittany and the English Channel, with colonies in the 7 Islands (Côtes d'Armor), in the Molène archipelago (Finistère), and for several years in the Glénan Islands (southern Finistère). It seems that most of the grey seals visible in France make seasonal round trips to sites in the British Isles. The grey seal is a protected species.
