Yeah, I think AlexCovarrubias is conflating copyright and trademark. This logo mark is certainly trademarked and protected from trademark infringement, but that doesn't mean that, as a visual element, it's copyrighted. This isn't about whether Commons "considers" it to be free or copyrighted - this is a Commons policy based on US copyright law. --Ytoyoda (talk) 20:00, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
