- What is it with the two of you? (Missvain & nsaum75) Are you harassing me? You've both been going around nominating my contributions for nothing. Editor182 (talk) 20:05, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- Keep Typographical logos are not eligible for copyright. --Ytoyoda (talk) 19:49, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- Delete It is a copyrighted logo! It doesn't matter what Commons "consider" to be enough originality to qualify for protection. The fact is that Colgate has this typographical logo registered, and it has copyright protection in the real world. AlexCovarrubias (talk) 19:54, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- This is a trademarked logo - it only consists of simple geometric shapes and/or text. It does not meet the threshold of originality needed for copyright protection. Editor182 (talk) 20:12, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- You seem not to understand {{PD-textlogo}} and especially {{Trademarked}}. --Leyo 19:57, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think AlexCovarrubias is conflating copyright and trademark. This logo mark is certainly trademarked and protected from trademark infringement, but that doesn't mean that, as a visual element, it's copyrighted. This isn't about whether Commons "considers" it to be free or copyrighted - this is a Commons policy based on US copyright law. --Ytoyoda (talk) 20:00, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- Keep PD-textlogo.--Prosfilaes (talk) 00:54, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
