Line 513: Election data for older elections are sourced from the Diet Library’s online photocopies. I couldn’t find the precise boundaries of some of the city constituencies pre-1928. I’ve also unfortunately lost the spreadsheet I compiled of pre-war elections. Since 1928 was the beginning of universal male suffrage, it’s a reasonable enough cutoff point for the time being.
