Great American Stories Vol 1

Been thinking lately of starting up a series spotlighting tales of legendary Americans from all and every era, and decided the first installment could only be about a YUGE favorite of mine back when I was but a young sprat: the amazing Robert Craig “Evel” Knievel.

Knievel started his career as a professional rider a bit late in life when he was 27 years old. He was the first daredevil biker to transform his stunts into a lucrative business and became a worldwide sensation in the 1960s/70s.

Robert Craig Knievel was born in the copper-mining town of Butte, Montana, on October 17, 1938. His parents broke up not long after he was born and the kid was raised by his grandparents. Knievel was a very energetic teenager, a standout athlete in track and field, sky-jumping, and ice hockey. Unfortunately, he used part of this energy to become a petty criminal.

His very first bike was a Harley-Davidson he stole when he was 13 years old. Three years later his grandmother bought him a Triumph.

One night Robert was caught by the cops for riding his bike recklessly (no shi…!) and was taken to the local precinct. There, the police were holding a guy named Knofel, whom they called “Awful Knofel“. To call Robert “Evil Knievel” was a no-brainer. The name stuck, and some years later, Mr. Knievel legally took the name Evel, changing the “i” to “e” because, he said, he thought it looked better.

His career as a petty criminal continued, He was once again caught by the police, at this time, stealing hubcaps. Hoping the military life could straighten him up, the judge decided to give Evel a chance, it would either be going to jail or joining the army. Knievel jumped into the green uniform in the 1950s, but a regular infantry job wouldn’t do it for him; he volunteered to be a paratrooper and performed more than 30 jumps during his tenure. Afterward, he played semiprofessional and professional hockey, for a time with the Charlotte Clippers of the Eastern Hockey League. Then he took up motorcycle racing full-time until falling and breaking bones in a race in 1962.

When he was 27, Knievel became co-owner of a motorcycle shop in Moses Lake, Wash. To attract customers, he announced he would jump his Honda 350cc, 40 feet over parked cars and a box of rattlesnakes, and continue past a mountain lion tethered at the other end. More than 1,000 people came to see him, His jump was almost perfect, but he failed to fly far enough; his bike came down on the rattlesnakes. The audience was in awe.

“Right then,” he said, “I knew I could draw a big crowd by jumping over weird stuff.”

Some guys in history were born to become legends and that might be the case with Evel Knievel, even if he turned out to be a controversial one. Some stories about his personal life are as extreme as his stunts. He said he had twice kidnapped his hometown sweetheart, Linda Bork, and married her after the second time. He said he had robbed a service station of $900 when the owner failed to pay off a $25 bet. He said he had worked as a card shark, a swindler, and a safecracker. How much of it is true or not remained unclear.

Evel started his career riding Honda, Norton, and Triumph but his favorite bike was Harley-Davidson. For an American hero through and through, there was no other brand that could fit the bill.

He chose the XR 750, a bike designed primarily for dirt track competition, but it could also perform well on paved tracks.

And the tale continues on from there, featuring some really great, seldom-seen photos of the legendary daredevil in action. The famous Caesars Palace smash-up—”by far my worst crash,” according to the man his own self—is covered in minute detail, including the backstory of what-all went into booking the event to begin with. Fascinating stuff, believe you me; the pics alone are well worth the price of admission.

Follows, the fabled Caesars Palace misadventure—the jump that made him a superstar, but which also damned near killed the guy.

Watching the crash as a 7 year old kid horrified me, the way his body rag-dolled limply, seemingly boneless, as he went bouncing along at the bottom of the ramp. A fractured skull, pelvis, hips, and ribs; a month-long spell in a coma, effectively dead to the world. God only knows what my mom must’ve thought about the whole thing.

There have been other motorcycle stunt-riders and jumpers over the years—including Evel’s own son Robbie, who died in ’23 of pancreatic cancer—but none of them quite like the one, the only, the original Evel Knievel.

Sweet, sweet Sidney

The sharper-eyed amongst you (or the Sidney Sweeney fans, take your pick) will no doubt have noticed the luscious Sidney screen-grab I included with today’s Memezapoppin’! post. I did that for a reason, aside from the obvious prurient-interest one: as a lead-in to this great X/Twatter takedown wherein our old chum Eric Raymond slices, dices, and purees one of those annoying, sniffy, perpetually-offended Sidney-H88RRS™.

ESR SidneyXchange. For ease of reading and/or posting, I just did a screen-cop of said slicing, dicing, &c rather than using X/Twatter’s homegrown embed code. A to the fuggin’ MEN, Eric ol’ boy; damned nice job.

SIDE NOTE: funny, innit, how this supposed “feminist” cockholster just takes it as a given that a woman as attractive as Sweeney just couldn’t POSSIBLY be at all intelligent.

Update! Another longtime chum spots another gratuitous slam against the pulchritudinous Ms Sweeney, disposes of it in the proper fashion.

Hmm…I’m beginning to think maybe the real reason all these shitlib twats hate Sidney so much has nothing whatsoever to do with sports.

Unintentionally (?) funny

Even when they’re they’re waxing all pinch-faced and scoldy, their position is so inherently self-contradictory and absurd, the cognitive dissonance so scaldingly intense, that they can’t help but be funnier than a psychic concatenation of Jack Benny, Norm McDonald, and Richard Pryor on speed. To wit:

New Zohran Mamdani Top Advisor Literally Wrote the Book on “Gay Communism”
—Disinformation Expert Ace

Okay, it wasn’t a book, it was a magazine, and she didn’t write it, she edited it.

So, more accurately: She literally edited the magazine by and for Gay Communists.

The magazine’s name?

See if you can guess. What name would appeal to both left-wing gays and communists?

That’s right — “Pinko” magazine, the magazine for gay communists.

Heh. See what I’m talking ’bout?

You say you want a revolution…

Well, you know.

Insurrection for Real
“The Democrat agenda is to legalize crime and criminalize the middle class.”—Stephen Miller

Not to put too fine a point on it: but whenever a lawfare ninja of the Democratic Party utters the phrase “our democracy,” you must know that they are completely full of shit. For sure, they do not mean anything remotely related to an American commonweal, as understood by people of sound mind and good faith. What they mean by “our democracy” is the state as a racketeering operation run for the sole benefit of their party members, along with the ruthless power to annihilate their opponents and critics.

The war-cry “our democracy” only signifies how degenerate they have become. Though they yearn to win control of Congress in these midterm elections by any means necessary, the party’s actual prospects are not so great, having nominated a pack of obvious morons and reprobates such as Abdul el-Sayed (MI), James Talarico (TX), Angie Nixon (FL), Troy Jackson (ME), and Peggy Flanagan (MN) for the US Senate.

Now, it appears that President Donald Trump is determined to clean up our fraud-ridden election process this year, one way or another. Hopes are nearly dead for Congress passing a comprehensive election reform law, the SAVE Act, so he has looked to other measures. One is a procedure for the US Postal Service to match and track mail-in ballots to real persons with actual addresses listed on state voter rolls. The matter is still working through courts. The DOJ’s Civil Rights Division has pledged to send about 1000 election monitors to polling places around the country as “observers,” which could obviate arrant shenanigans like the broken toilet ploy in Fulton County, GA, 2020.

All that is a prelude to a disturbing roll-out of events that anyone paying attention can see coming this fall. The Democratic Party has massive resources not just to stall and obstruct pre-election reform, but to mount a vicious resistance after the fact if it doesn’t produce their desired result. They could go as far as to repudiate the election, refuse to accept its results. If the president does issue that NatSec EO prior to the election, blue state officials could refuse to hold elections under new rules. Thirty states have already refused to comply with DOJ demands to submit their official voter rolls for evaluation. Some of the aforementioned activist NGOs have promised post-election street actions (demonstrations that could easily turn into riots).

In the face of that, you can foresee the necessity of the president having to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1878 (10 U.S.C. §§ 251–255). The act provides an exception to the Posse Commitatus Act, also 1878, which forbids the use of the US military to act as police inside the USA. Under the Insurrection Act, the president can federalize states’ national guard units to enforce federal law or protect constitutional rights when ordinary civilian means are not enough.

The Act has been used before in our history about thirty times by fifteen presidents, including the Great Railway Strike of 1877 (Pres. Hayes); the Pullman Strike of 1894 (Pres. Cleveland); the Little Rock School Desegregation resistance of 1957 (Pres. Eisenhower sent in the 82nd Airborne). Pres. Lyndon Johnson invoked it three times: the Selma to Montgomery March of 1965; the Detroit riots of 1967; and the riots that followed the Assassination of Martin Luther King, 1968. Pres. George H. W. Bush used it in 1994 to quell the Rodney King Riots in Los Angeles.

If Mr. Trump invokes the Insurrection Act around any violence or organized election rebellion this year, he will invite the Democrats to label him an autocrat, a tyrant, a wannabe king, as they have been taunting him and goading him with for years. Let’s suppose that will be enough to inflame the party’s activists. I think you can see how this lays the groundwork for something that looks like a new civil war. The repudiation of election results by blue states would be enough.

If they’re gonna smear him anyway, regardless of what he does or does not—and they ARE going to, and we all know it—then who gives a flying fig what they may say? Let ’em whine, let ’em bitch, let ’em cavil and threaten and bluster to their hearts’ content, and just go ahead and do the things that need doing and leave them to their bubbling, frothy misery.

Then, if in response they start in with yet another round of their patented violent fascist rioting, looting, and burning, then shoot their scraggly, seditious asses and leave ’em lay to bleed out in the street, in job lots. As great American Curtis LeMay knew: if you kill enough of them they stop fighting.

As I’ve said lo, these many times: if they really think they want another Civil War, then they should be given one…good and hard, until the very thought of such a horrific eventuality makes them retch their nuts up.

Kunstler goes on from there to close things out with a casual, breezy “Of course, it will be the end of the Democratic Party.” As if that were a bad thing, somehow.

Dream team

The über-lovely and talented Sophie Cunningham and …uhhh, lemme see here…what the everlovin’ blueyed…erm…Republic of Texas AG and gubernatorial candidate Ken Paxton?!?

As Jack Nicholson so memorably quipped in the criminally-under-appreciated film Goin’ South, “what the hell, fine by me.”

Texas AG Ken Paxton sends message to WNBA amid ‘concerns’ over treatment of Sophie Cunningham supporters
EXCLUSIVE: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton expressed cautious optimism about the WNBA’s treatment of Sophie Cunningham’s supporters Thursday while reaffirming his commitment to keeping biological males out of women’s sports.

Paxton attended the Indiana Fever’s game against the Dallas Wings at American Airlines Center with his daughter Mattie. The two wore matching XX-XY shirts as women’s sports advocates rallied outside the arena before the game.

When asked whether Cunningham’s supporters had received fair treatment from the WNBA, Paxton stopped short of condemning the league.

“Look, I think they’re working on it,” Paxton told Fox News Digital. “I have concerns … but I’m hopeful that things are getting better in that regard.”

Paxton answered a question on whether he would become involved if supporters face unfair treatment, saying he was “looking” into the issue. He did not indicate any plans for any formal action.

“Look, we’re looking at it,” Paxton said. “We wanna make sure that they are treated fairly”

Paxton’s measured response came after Cunningham supporters raised concerns about their treatment at WNBA games in multiple cities. The league recently acknowledged that security personnel should not have instructed a mother and daughter to cover their XX-XY shirts at an Atlanta Dream game.

“This should not have happened,” the WNBA said in response to that incident.

Paxton showed little willingness to compromise on the underlying issue.

“In Texas, we know what we’ve passed,” he said. “We have laws here that protect against men in women’s sports and boys in girls’ sports, and it’s pretty important to, I think, the people of Texas.”
As it’s “pretty important” to all sane, reasonable people everywhere. As my gal Sophie herself said after this foolish non-troversy—yet another of those 80/20 issues that a certain pathological criminal syndicate masquerading as a political party finds itself on the 20 percent side of—went wide: “It’s just common sense.”

Just hitch up your Big Boy britches, square your shoulders, and ‘fess on up to it: when she’s right, she is one hundred and fifty-leven percent fucking-A RIGHT. And as I learn more about this woman, I am starting to feel somewhat awed by how often she IS right, I must say.

Oh, and while we’re discussing dream teams here…A-HENH!

* le sigh* That’s a snap (at left and right, NOT the middle one, natch) from the Sidney-Sophie meetup at the Phoenix NASCAR event mentioned by Village Idiot in the comments here.

These two living dolls hanging out together just having themselves a little race-day fun is literally the stuff of which dreams are made.

“Threaten”? SRSLY?!?

“Threaten,” it says. “Threaten,” forsooth.

If we’re not careful, Islamic extremists threaten to turn us into ‘Americastan’
Over next month’s Labor Day weekend, Michigan Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed is to speak at a conference that will platform a rogue’s gallery of Islamic extremists.

The conference in Detroit is the 63rd annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America, a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate that was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007-28 Holy Land terrorism-funding trial.

Other speakers among a plethora of Islamists include Siraj Wahhaj, a former ISNA vice-president who was himself an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Wahhaj, who has called for the full application of sharia law including amputation, stoning and the execution of gay people, makes no secret of his aim to Islamize America.

He has said: “You don’t get involved in politics because it’s the American thing to do. You get involved in politics because politics are a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.”

Another scheduled convention participant, Zaid Shakir, has said: “If only Muslims were clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate. If we put a nationwide infrastructure in place and marshaled our resources, we’d take over this country in a very short time.”

And now: Question Time.

Apart from El-Sayed’s participation, the question has to be asked how this conference has been able to platform such dangerous extremists year after year. Why are such individuals allowed to run jihadi mosques and other institutions that pose such a threat to the state? How come America has permitted such dangerous extremists to be able freely to promote such jihadi subversion?

As for those “jihadi mosques,” some smart Hun has hit upon the perfect preemptive solution to that thorny issue.

Pieces of pig placed on plot of future mosque in Germany
BERLIN (AP) — Nine wooden spikes topped with parts of a dead pig were planted on a plot of land where Muslims are planning to build a mosque in the eastern city of Erfurt, German police said Monday.

The 1.5 meter-tall (nearly 5-foot) stakes were topped with half of a pig’s head, pig feet, and pig bowels among other things, the German news agency dpa reported. Police say whoever was responsible is unknown.

Pigs are considered unclean by Muslims.

There have been repeated protests against the construction of the Ahmadiyya mosque in Erfurt, including one by protesters who erected large Christian crosses on a neighboring property.

A spokesman for the Erfurt community, Mohammed Suleman Malik, said in a statement to The Associated Press that “while such acts do not make us lose our composure…we find it very sad that people go down to such a level.”

Yeah, fuck you, Mohammed. Shag your ass on back to the ME where you belong, shitstain.

Update! Only tangentially related, I suppose, but this one’s been sitting in an open tab for a while now, and this feels like a pretty good spot for it.

The $3.8 Billion Lie: Why Cutting Aid to Israel Would Sabotage America’s Power, Not Save It.

The US federal budget is about $7 trillion. That $3.8 billion to Israel is less than 0.05% of it. The defense budget is around $960 billion. The aerospace and defense industry generates nearly $1 trillion in sales and about $500 billion in economic value. Most of that $3.8 billion goes right back into American companies and jobs.

Israel’s own budget is about $220 billion. This is not charity, and Israel is not dependent on it. If it was just a matter of money, Israel could build its own weapons on its own. It has that capacity. But this is a real partnership, just like any corporate partnership where each side contributes to the project.

Israeli pilots and the Israeli defense establishment operate under constant threat from terrorists, jihadists, and anti-American entities. They make real-time, do-or-die adjustments to equipment developed for both countries.

That is what gives American weapons their edge over Russian, Chinese, and other competition. This is how America builds and maintains power through smart, long-term vision.

Yet the anti-Israel crowd, including figures like Ilhan Omar and Zohran Mamdani, tells the public that cutting this tiny fraction would make everyone rich. It’s not just a lie. It’s ridiculous.

If people with that Robin Hood mindset gain real power, they would sabotage the American way of investing, developing, and staying dominant. At the same time, American Jews, roughly 7.5 million strong, contribute an estimated $250 billion annually to the US treasury through taxes. Their bond with Israel isn’t just strategic; it’s family.

Cutting aid to Israel while pushing to isolate it sends a clear message to this highly productive community: your taxes may fund policies hostile to your family and your values.

These new voices aren’t serving the American people. They’re advancing Islamic and communist agendas, whether funded by China or anti-American Islamic regimes.
This outrage over Gaza is manufactured by the same terrorists and jihadists who dragged Israel and America into this dirty war, using human shields and weaponizing civilians by design to turn Americans against their own government and allies.

Replacing a proven alliance and a successful economic fabric with dependency and foreign interests is a dangerous gamble. The average American needs to wake up.

Boy, you dang sure said a mouthful there, Bubba.

America’s Sweetheart

Might she be the new Sydney Sweeney?

GOD, how I love this woman. If you don’t feel the same way, you’re just a gottdamned un-American shitheel gooberhead, that’s all. Sophie is beautiful, sexy, fearless and indomitable, and eminently sensible, with good instincts and a finely-calibrated bullshit detector. The girl is as all-American as they come, with all those fine qualities and more rolled up into one sassy, smoking-hot package. I ask you, people: what’s not to like here?

Down the Big Muddy

The latest in Ross’s brilliantly conceived, deftly executed “Graphic History” series.

A Day with Young Abraham Lincoln in New Orleans, 1828
Historical Backdrop

In the spring of 1828, a nineteen-year-old Abraham Lincoln was hired by James Gentry, the richest man in Gentryville, Indiana, to help float a cargo of pork, bacon, corn meal, potatoes and flour down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers to New Orleans. His partner was Gentry’s son Allen, four years older. Lincoln was paid eight dollars a month and a steamboat ticket home. The boat was a “broadhorn” flatboat — a big unpainted wooden box, roughly sixty-five feet long, steered by a long sweep oar, moving only as fast as the current. Somewhere below Baton Rouge, at a sugar plantation landing, seven men boarded at night intending to rob them; Lincoln fought them off with a hickory club and carried a scar over his right eye for the rest of his life. Then came New Orleans: a city of about 46,000 people, the busiest port in the South. Lincoln had grown up in the backwoods of Indiana. He had never seen anything like it.

That’s merely the beginning; read it all, you’ll be damned glad you did.

Jagger to Springstein: shut up and “sing!”

Love him or hate him, he’s right, and you damned well know he is.

Mick Jagger Just Said What Millions of Concertgoers Have Been Thinking
Mick Jagger has spent over 60 years commanding stages, reading crowds, and understanding why people leave home to hear live music.

His conclusion isn’t complicated: Fans came to escape their problems, enjoy the music, and have fund.

They didn’t buy tickets to hear lectures.

Asked about Bruce Springsteen’s habit of attacking President Donald Trump from the stage, Jagger said performers shouldn’t preach to their audience. A Rolling Stones concert should let people forget their mortgages, work pressure, and daily troubles for a few hours.

While I do certainly get the concept of artistic expression’s potential for changing minds, provoking thought, and, ultimately, moving mountains, I also have no patience whatever with entertainers possessed of a certain ideological bent indulging the presumptuous assumption that I’ll ever be willing to sit still for a political lecture from them during a rock and roll show. Sorry, O Great Gazoo, but…NO.

Jagger’s point is sharp because he doesn’t demand political silence from musicians. Songs have carried social and political messages for generations.

He draws the line at turning a paid performance into a speech delivered to people who can’t respond without abandoning seats that may have cost hundreds of dollars.

Springsteen repeatedly crossed that line during his Land of Hope and Dreams tour. He called Trump “reckless, racist, incompetent, and treasonous” and accused his administration of destroying the American idea.

And the beat goes on:

Fans who arrived expecting “Born to Run” also received several minutes of Bruce Springsteen’s keen political analysis.

After all, for the previous many decades, Springsteen has lived among the unwashed, uneducated, and unwitting yocals, listening to us everyday Americans struggle through life.

Pfft!

Of course, he has every right to hold those (überliberal) beliefs and express them. Fans also have every right to wonder why they paid premium prices to hear opinions available free on television, podcasts, and social media.

Some 2026 Springsteen tickets started near $200 for New York shows. Other markets saw resale prices climb far higher, depending on the date and seat. At those prices, promoters might consider adding a warning besides “limited view” and “service fees”; tickets include political commentary whether requested or not.

Of course, it must also be mentioned that any Springstein-licker willing to pony up for said exorbitantly-priced tickets not only well knows beforehand that lectures, Leftard hectoring, and Wokester sermonizing all come along with the price of admission, but also most likely approve wholeheartedly of the opinions they’ll hear their third-rate idol express between BROOOOOOCE! groaning out the tuneless medley of hit “songs.” Such low-IQ refugees from a Pavlov behavioral-science experiment are far more likely to be singing along with every grunt, belch, and incoherent mumble—clenched fists waving and tears streaming down their stubbly cheeks—than to be annoyed and insulted by all the t’ween-songs speechifying.

Personally, I’d rather go to Dearbornistan and sit, shackled and chained to my chair, through a three-hour recording of the Mooselimb call to prayer at high volume than be subjected to “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” yet another gott-damned time. But hey, that’s probably just me, right?

Q: Can the no-referee, no holds barred Death Match inside the traditional padlocked 30-foot cage featuring the Mickster and the aging, addled ex-Boss be very long in coming? Will said match be viewable gratis on a regularly-scheduled WWE broadcast, or will it be a PPV exclusive? Enquiring minds want to know, McMahon.

Whose fault? Why, TRUMP’S fault, of course!

Who else?

QUELLE SURPRISE! NY Times Blames Platner on — You Guessed It — President Trump
Here’s my biggest problem with the current state of looniness on the left these days. It’s not just that the Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media have had sanity in their rearview mirrors for years now; it’s that they’ve become criminally boring while doing so. We’ve all seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest; we know that there are crazy people out there who are fun to watch. The 2026 Democrats are just an endless parade of yawn-inducing predictability.

It’s a given that no Democrat will ever take responsibility for anything that he or she has done wrong; personal accountability is anathema to them. Although it has always been a devout hive mind, the Democratic Party did used to be good at properly throwing one of its own under the bus when it served its purposes. Now, thanks to Stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome, Dems and the MSM propagandists are obligated to make excuses for any one of theirs who has fallen by the wayside, no matter how aberrant the behavior. More precisely, they are obligated to make an excuse, and that excuse is always the same.

It’s President Donald Trump’s fault.

Virtually everything written in the Times’ Opinion section is a cry for a coupon book to electroshock therapy.

One thing that I do like about the Opinion pieces in the Times is that there is never any tease or slow build-up before the whole thing goes off the rails. The crazy guy spitting up goldfish crackers in the corner while banging his head against the wall doesn’t do nuance. Here’s Yglesias kicking off this one:

Michelle, last fall, you went to Maine and walked away impressed by Platner’s charisma. You’d later write that he was “nothing like the edgelord caricature” you’d encountered online. I met Platner last summer, right after he announced his campaign, and also found him incredibly charming and charismatic, even though I didn’t really agree with his populist pitch. Alex, you have spoken to him too. Is it possible that many of us were somehow too informed on this story, and people who hadn’t interacted with the candidate saw things more clearly?

I’m certain that I could have Yglesias talk me through the “too informed” thing for a week and he’d never adequately explain it. That’s only because he’s incapable of being honest with himself. He couldn’t possibly admit that what he did there was position himself as being intellectually superior to his readers while at the same time telling them that he was too stupid to see what was in front of him.

The general vibe here is that Platner is the only Dem candidate in recent years who has any, shall we say, rough edges. As I wrote in the Morning Briefing at the beginning of June, Platner is definitely not an outlier in the Democratic Party. They accepted him simply because he is them. Dems are in their sixth decade of making excuses for Teddy Kennedy; covering for awful people is part of the party’s DNA.

Commie radicals; pedophiles; rapists; noxious bigots; gender-addled sexual deviants; dimestore dictators; violence-prone narcissists: they don’t merely COVER for awful people—for the most part, they ARE awful people. It’s why the spectacular Platner self-immolation has them so fretful and perturbed of late; by plumping so hard for an obvious creep early on, their true colors were on open display for all to see, leaving them nothing to hide behind, no more masks or disguises to don, no plausible excuses and rationalizations to crouch beneath until, with lots of MSM assistance, the whole self-generated shitstorm blows over and is forgotten.

Anybody with even half a lick of sense knew what these dirtbags were all along; now, after this debacle, EVERYBODY does. It’s an extremely ugly picture, and there ain’t no unseeing it.

Update! Larry Correia expresses it a helluva lot better than I can.

Don’t let them distance themselves now. These shit heads knew Platner was scum the whole time and made excuses for him.

Who could have possibly imagined that a dude with a nazi tattoo on his chest would have a history of poor life choices? Not the DNC. This was a shocking revelation. Shocking I say. This is my shocked face.

The democrats are so desperate to get a straight white male figurehead to distance themselves from the stink of failure that is the Kamala era DEI/Box Wine Cat Lady Party, that if you look even sorta like a traditional man they’ll run you for office.

Except the democrats are so fundamentally opposed to traditional, working class masculinity all they can scrape up is closeted weirdos like Walz or Talarico, and psychopath prep schoolers like Platner. Then they try to cosplay as normal, but since they’re democrats, normal is impossible for them.

Annnnnd BINGO. Nailed it, clean and tight.

Film clip

Tons of chatter about Uwe Bolt’s magnum opus out there, some pro, some con, but if this extended 7.5-minute snippet doesn’t motivate you to watch the whole thing, you’re probably a damned liberal.

Update! Direct, do-it-yourself justice is busting out all over, looks like.

Mexican Batman Duct-Tapes Alleged Motorcycle Thieves to Lamp Posts
A vigilante nicknamed ‘Batman of Lagos de Moreno’ has become known in the Mexican state of Jalisco for tying alleged motorcycle thieves to lamp posts

Tired of waiting for local police to do their duty and bring criminals to justice, a mysterious vigilante in the town of Lagos de Moreno, Mexico’s Jalisco state, has been duct-taping alleged motorcycle thieves to lamp posts and leaving them for authorities to find. At least five ‘victims’ have been found so far.

The mysterious ‘Batman’ started operating in Lagos de Moreno in mid-June. The first person was found duct-taped to a lamp post, with ‘thief’ written on his forehead, on June 13th. An allegedly stolen motorcycle was also found nearby, suggesting that the immobilized person was a thief. But this was only the beginning, as police have since discovered at least 4 other alleged thieves tied to lamp posts.

Yes, there are pictures, and they’re hilarious. Unfortunately, the “proper authorities” appear to have learned nothing whatsoever from all this (bold mine).

Although most people seem convinced this crusade against alleged motorcycle thieves is the work of a single vigilante, local authorities told news reporters that this might be the work of a gang of vigilantes. Interestingly, so far, the victims have not provided any clarification in that regard.

Jalisco’s Secretary of Public Security, Juan Pablo Hernández, reported that investigations are underway to clarify the attacks and locate those involved. He also emphasized that the five men found bound so far are currently being treated as victims, adding that no one should take the law into their own hands, regardless of their motives.

Yeah well, sorry to have to hip ya to it and all, pal, but people are only gonna take so much official crim-coddling, excuse-making, and hands-off, lackadaisical “policing” before they r’are up on their hind legs and start taking care of business for themselves. Expecting otherwise from them is a mug’s game, at best.

Remember, duct-taping the thieving skin-bags to a lamp post is the MODERATE response.

Follows, much anguished, overwrought wringing of hands, natch. To wit:

At the start of June, I stopped by Target while running errands in the SoHo neighborhood of New York. The store had just set out its summer merchandise, displaying an array of clothes, accessories and sunscreens nestled within a series of red arches.

As I hurried past tank tops and patterned shorts toward the pet section, I stopped to look at the Pride collection.

There wasn’t much – a single display of generic rainbow-colored shirts and home goods rested toward the back of the store, with no signs declaring June to be LGBTQ+ Pride Month.

I realized at that moment that in spite of the fact that I live in New York City, and in spite of the fact that I am part of the LGBTQ+ community, I hadn’t seen many corporate advertisements related to this year’s celebration. I think I know why.

It seems that the era of rainbow capitalism that has endured since Obergefell v. Hodges made same-sex marriage the law of the land in 2015 is no longer a guaranteed moneymaker for brands, leading them to downsize their efforts or abandon them altogether.

Awww, poor widdle wambikins: a miniscule, stastically-insignificant fraction of the population is upset because they don’t have racks upon racks upon racks of merchandise celebrating their weirdo sexual kinks within easy reach. Hard not to be shocked by that, it’s SO damned unfair. Gee, wonder who this bubbleheaded bull-dagger bimbelina thinks is to blame for all this trouble and woe? Three guesses, first two don’t etc.

It’s the continuation of a troubling trend that began in 2024, with the reelection of President Donald Trump.

Yeppers, thought so. Ace posits a much more likely explanation of what’s behind the LGBTQ+++ Mafia’s sudden fall from (scape)grace.

You kept making more and more extravagant demands, testing people’s inclination to be “nice” to avoid confrontation, until those demands became so oppressive they stopped being “nice.”

This is entirely on you. Or, it’s entirely on the gay grifter activist class, who can only justify their phony-baloney jobs by making greater and greater claims on the public’s sympathies and attention so they can show they’re “getting results” for their $300,000 per year jobs.

Until the public gets sick of the endless extortion campaign and starts saying “No.”

We thought we could appease you but you demonstrated again and again that you were unappeasable and each fresh concession we granted you just encouraged further aggression. You know, like a communist dictator or Islamic conqueror.

The Gay Lobby assured us, over and over, that “gay marriage will have no effect on your life at all.” When objectors said “gay marriage will lead to demands for ‘trans acceptance’ next, you called those people liars and said that will never, ever happen.

Well, you fucking lied. You lied and lied and lied until you got what you wanted, then you began making the exact kind of demands that people said you’d make when you got what you said you wanted.

And you’re surprised people are fed up with your bullshit?

But…but…but…but…teh homophobic BIGOTRY, you guys!!!

YMCA in liberal city finally cracks down with new rules after trans woman exposed pre-op privates in female locker room
A trans woman named Sammy has been banned from flaunting her pre-op privates at a YMCA in liberal San Francisco after a sustained freak out by gym goers, the Daily Mail has learned.

OFFICIAL CF TRANSLATION: “Trans woman” actually means “man.” “Pre-op privates” is actually a polite euphemism for “cock and balls.” “Flaunting her (sic)…privates” actually means “terrorizing women by chasing them around the Ladies’ changing room buck nekkid while whipping his lizard.”

The Stonestown Family YMCA has posted new rules preventing the sort of behavior that got Sammy in trouble, prohibiting excessive nudity in the women’s locker room.

Sammy, who’s stood firm for two years despite horrifying women and children, hasn’t been seen since the new rules went into effect.

Susan Pete, a 59-year-old member who was one of Sammy’s most vocal critics, told the Daily Mail that the new rules seem specifically written for Sammy, who has been accused of violating each one of them.

Pete said she’s happy Sammy’s gone, but she and many other members are wondering about a new policy that seems impractical.

Given the Y’s obvious reluctance to violate PC protocol and properly lower the boom on this head case, I’d say “impractical’ might be putting it mildly.

YMCA officials, however, defended Sammy’s use of the women’s locker room, citing her ‘civil rights’. This only inflamed outrage from other members who felt uncomfortable seeing a husky trans woman with male genitalia and ‘slowly growing breasts’ roaming around in front of women and children.

‘I’ve seen that man more than most of my boyfriends,’ Pete told the Daily Mail last year.

Some women stopped coming, while others stood up to her.

OFFICIAL CF TRANSLATION: “Her” actually means “him.”

At the Berkeley YMCA, member Elizabeth Kenney recalled seeing Sammy ‘harassing’ an elderly member who’d asked her to ‘cover up.’

OFFICIAL CF TRANSLATION: “Cover up” actually means “put some goddamned clothes on and stop waving your goob at me, freak.”

‘If you don’t like the way I look, then you’ve got a sexual problem with yourself,’ Sammy allegedly told the senior.

OFFICIAL CF TRANSLATION: “You’ve got a sexual problem with yourself” actually means “I’VE got a sexual problem with MYself.”

‘Get away from her, leave her alone,’ Kenney recalled telling Sammy. ‘You’re a man, you don’t belong here.’

OFFICIAL CF TRANSLATION: One hundred percent true and accurate, no translation needed.

‘He used (his hand-mirror) as if it were a rear view mirror to look at me behind himself,’ Anne wrote in the report. ‘His eyes caught mine in the mirror and I froze.’

Anne described another time she allegedly ‘paraded’ around in front of two young children.

Because Of COURSE he did.

Elizabeth, 23, told the Daily Mail about another time she was ‘repulsed and angry’ to see Sammy ‘blow drying his entire naked body, including his penis, posed in front of all of the other women.’

OFFICIAL CF TRANSLATION: “Blow-drying his…penis” actually means “flogging his log.”

A pic from the article of this fat, ugly, batshit-crazy old freak:

Eggg-zackly, dude.

Via Ace, who notes:

So the (new) rule limits the freedom of children who are using the correct locker room, while the aggressive, menacing male pervert gets to flap his dick around.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. Sad as it is, that shouldn’t come as any great surprise, either. For the Almighty Superstate, the main thing, the truly vital aspect of this disgusting dustup, is that maladjusted weirdos be empowered–nay, encouraged–to get their sick jollies at the expense of anybody and everybody, wherever and whenever, that’s all. We forget or ignore this at our own grave peril, which would have to be the most fucked-up aspect of all.
