This Sunday (August 16), we will attend the founding academic meeting of GORTEC China in Shanghai, joining leading clinicians and researchers from both China and France. For those less familiar, GORTEC (Groupe d'Oncologie Radiothérapie Tête Et Cou) is one of Europe's most influential head and neck cancer research organizations. Founded in France in 1999, it unites over 500 investigators across 100+ cancer centers — and recently made global headlines with the landmark NIVOPOST-OP trial, published in The Lancet, which achieved the first meaningful improvement in postoperative outcomes for high-risk head and neck cancer patients in 20 years.
