罗纳德·里根号航母抵日本以示支持

周四，美国海军核动力航空母舰“罗纳德·里根号”抵达日本。这是美国实施重心转向亚洲策略的一个重要部分。除了向亚洲投射力量，美国对于这艘航母部署还体现了对日本首相安倍晋三有争议做法的支持。安倍计划扩展日本自卫队在本地区所发挥的作用。
“罗纳德·里根号”周四抵达美国在横须贺市的海军基地。这艘航母接替“乔治·华盛顿号”，成为美国“重心转移”亚洲策略的一个核心要素。这项政策把美国军事和外交资产聚焦战略地位越来越重要的亚太地区。
美国第七舰队司令海军中将约瑟夫·奥库安说： “我们拥有弹道导弹防御能力极强的舰船，特别是在这个和朝鲜隔海相望的地区。”
这艘军舰上的五千名官兵中有很多已经在海上待了几个月了。抵港后，海军列兵伊曼纽尔·泰勒第一次见到了他刚出生的女儿。
 “我太开心了。此刻的心情无法用言语表达。”他说。
 “罗纳德·里根号”抵达日本正逢日本通过新的安保法，新安保法使日本能够更容易的保护自身利益和盟国。
然而，新安保法继续遭到日本和平主义者的强烈反对，邻国也担心日本重返军国主义老路。
美国海军部长雷·麦伯斯来到日本参加了“罗纳德·里根”号的抵达仪式，部分目的是展现美国支持日本采取更强势的姿态，以帮助阻遏共同的对手，比如中国和朝鲜。

We can only hope that China goes bankrupt before there is a military engagement with the US. We should be doing everything we can to make that bankruptcy happen as quickly as possible. It is far preferable to a shooting war. We'll win either way but the bankruptcy route would avoid unnecessary injuries and deaths on both sides.

That would be one way for China to start a nuclear war against the US. China would never know what hit it. It won't have to worry about a hard landing after that. The whole country will be floating up in the stratosphere and highly radioactive.

There are things out there called SM-2, SM-3, and RIM-162 ESSM which making these chinese so-called DF-21 and DF-whatever become useless! plus all chinese military bases and installations are at big risk from America's return fires!
